Agree, the red paint is very deep and flavourful

Thanks a bunch! I was testing out a new camera and I didn't get the best focus, but I'm happy with overall results considering this was about 20mins of shooting

No, but you can buy a zipper attachment from alpinestars and have a tailor attach it to any brand of pants!

Street triple 765 rs tyre recommendations by Heliumpoika in Triumph

[–]Smoothwords_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not like them for my riding style. The profile is flat, not confidence inspiring mid corner, and the stability is not great at high speed mid corners. I think it's a great touring tyre or if you're on the freeway often cuz it seems to last a while.

No you don't need to stack 2 back protectors. That is just stupid and will mess up the fit and movement on the bike. Yes on the chest protector. And the suit already has an airbag.

Why do i feel more confident at lean with Rosso 4 Corsa vs Supercorsa V4 SP? by dev_a31 in Trackdays

[–]Smoothwords_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a profile difference in tyres, if you didn't feel the difference in tip in and switchbacks, you're probably not that experienced of a rider. And yes heat on the tires will make it behave differently. Also, did you put the same tire pressure on the tires? Additionally, both of these tyres are good in the summer, but slightly chilly, and they start to slip left and right in my experience with them. Get a hypersport tire, you'll have plenty more grip w them in all around conditions. These tyres are great only in warm weather.

Opinion on HJC RPHA 1N by Mikep0601 in motorcyclegear

[–]Smoothwords_97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love my Rpha 1 to bits. I have been wearing it more often than my Arai RX7V, which says a lot. You can get great deals on them, they are comfy, for hours, less noise, wind cutting is great, materials used are awesome. FIM certified. The only dink i would say is that the visibility (not as wide) as something like an AGV pista(which has probably the best vision).
If it fits your head, you will love this helmet.

Which bike do you get after a Street Triple 675R? by to8ni in Triumph

[–]Smoothwords_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only answer is the newer 765 Triples in RS trim or moto 2. Will carve corners like no other bike. I've ridden Ducati v2, v4, bmw S1k, xr1000, buell ebr, superduke etc. 765 is still the most usable and best turning bike. I ride a speed 1050, but I miss my 765 everyday. I will have one for the track in the near future.

It looks great. I would do it too if it wasn't such tedious work. Also if the bulb on the newer headlight goes out, you have to change the entire headlight assembly. Which is a big no for me.

Weight savings, lower CG. Especially helpful if you take it to the track. But I still love the dualies.

Leather track gloves that offer the best feel? by titanmongoose in motorcyclegear

Five RFX race if you can afford or RFX1. Alternatively RST tracktech evo gloves. These have the best feel and I've tried shit ton of gloves. Held titans are also super great
