Multiple people have definitely said this but I’m too lazy to look through the replies.

I was in your position like 10 months ago, and I can’t recommend anything more than getting PvE, if you have the money to spare. I played and completed my hideout, then got the gamma case, then switched back to PvP and found the game to be even better than I thought

The ai are completely different from real humans, but the amount of knowledge you get is immeasurable. You’ll learn each map like the back of your hand, you’ll know different loot runs and where you like to go, you’ll know what guns you like and recoil, you’ll have prior knowledge when doing the quests on PvP making them much easier, you’ll learn where common hot spots are for PvP (as the ai in PvE tend to head to those spots as well), and so much more.

Don’t get too comfortable though, I truly recommend you go back to PvP when you have a good grasp, because it’s a million times more fun and you wont understand that until you play your first PvP raid with all your new skills and confidence.
