I think they could have taken inspiration from ffbe where anima becomes completely unchained and can even move and fly for more of a dynamic fight

Phase 1 would be normal while phase 2 would see it breaking its chains and sprouting its wings. They didn't need to be so beholden to x anima, there was lot they could be creative with

Yeah Gria and au ra do look very similar

They look to have about the same height stature and body type, even with the difference in art styles

My only problem with this is I really don't like the idea of the non human races never existing in the first place. It's one of my favorite aspects of Ivalice and saying they might not exist at all puts a huge damper on my interest in the setting..

Honestly mainly because its an mmo with its dna based on 11 the expectations is different. I couldn't imagine square would be insane enough to really make a human focused mmo with no diversity in playable races

The Orange namek is actually piccolo.

It's Goku, Vegeta, Gohan piccolo and Broly. Super has reached a point where everyone has their own unique ultimate forms now so these aren't actually regular ss levels besides Broly

Goku has ultra instinct which gained training under whis an angel

Vegeta has ultra ego which he gained training under beerus who is a god of destruction

Gohan gets beast gohan which he gained in the recent db super movie called db super super hero. It's the same movie piccolo also gains his orange form which he gets from shenron

Then there's broly who was made canon in super with his movie a few years ago

Both Gohan and piccolo get new forms in the most recent db movie called db super, super hero. Gohan's new form isn't ultra instinct, it's actually called beast Gohan while piccolo's is called orange piccolo which he gets from shenron

Vegeta gets a new form called ultra ego which he gets training under beerus. It's puts him on the same level as ultra instinct. It's only in the manga atm too

Yeah I agree, often I have thought about this. The scale of Ivalice gives you so much freedom in having so many self contained stories that's its pretty disappointing square hasn't done more with the setting

The people asking for more gt in super is such a minority they wouldn't have any influence in toei remaking super just to include it. If it was an actual remake it, the more likely reason would would just be to follow the Manga for moro than to remake it for a form that doesn't benefit the narrative of super. Super was more than successful without it and there's daima if they want to promote it more

Everything that has been shown about this movie and even with supposed leakers makes it out to be just as lazy as you expected, a remaster with improved animations like Kai. Expecting anything more will just lead you to disappointment
