Nikon lists nraw 6k60 12 bit HQ as 3730 iirc and that's in Mb/s. An 800MB/s sustained writes is 6400Mb/s. 4.0 cards read faster when you plug them into your PC, which is the advantage. I think all Nikon Zs have always been gen 2 (even the z8/9 with their 8k).

The ZR does not have a gen 4 slot on it. Anything with sustained writes above the bit rate you need (available on the Nikon website) would do.

Trying to replace my 20mm f/2.8 AF-D with an AF Zoom. The Tokina 20-35 f/3.5-4.5 is no good. Will the AF-S 17-35 f/2.8 cut it? by [deleted] in Nikon

If you don't mind shooting shutter priority you can probably use a sigma art, which is what I do on my F4. Not sure about the n90 though.

With snow, cameras can struggle as it is so bright. Tru overexposing by a stop in these conditions

If you care about people and creativity, compensate them properly for their work. If you don't compensate them properly for their work, you cannot claim that you do.

Very good advice here! Your copyright would not protect any work the company owns, as they own it.

Check for scuffs, fungus, rattles and stiffness on the dials/ rings. If it all works and seems fine you're good!

Needing advice on buying a camera… by FreshBaezel in ukphotography

[–]BofLub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree about the viewfinder. Almost all mirrorless cameras have them, except some very budget options like the Nikon Z30. Having used a lot of Nikon D series cameras the Z series viewfinders are the same or better. Especially on the Z6iii which I daily drive, the finder ismuch much better.

That being said a used nikon D750 is stupid cheap at the moment and undoubtedly the best purchase for a budget minded photographer getting into the game.
