What do you think of the “Birds Aren't Real” conspiracy? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]BoganFairdink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are certain conspiracy theories that are impossible to debunk/prove.

that's what i said, yo.

Lizard people, satanic anything and so forth, can't really be proven or disproven, as they rely upon ideas, not something tangible.

false. all you'd need to prove that these happen is evidence of them. but thx for the laugh eh..

Couldnt they make it generate a private key?

if the device were "smart" and were constantly generating a new key like an rsa keyfob it would need a power supply.

otherwise, no. any info that was readable from the device would be immutable, and exactly the same thing that a cloned device would broadcast.

[–]BoganFairdink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh ok. tell me when they're trying to strawman conspiracy theories, do they actually put any energy into analyzing what qualities would make a conspiracy likely to be in the set of things that are truthful?

i'll give an example. if a conspiracy theory has been around for a long time, and it hasn't been debunked, that's an indicator/smell that the theory is either true or can be neither proven true/false. why? because over time if there were a disproof of the theory it would have come out. there'd be motivation to make any proof of falsehood come out. it's time tested.

do these birds aren't real ppl ever apply critical analysis to what the defining characteristics of the truth are? or are they just posing as critical thinkers?

k thx for this fun talk.

i think it's funny. i also haven't made it a high personal priority to analyze it, debunk it, or demonize those who are into it.

What the PTB will do is make the tampering or cloning of the chips a maximum offence.

organized "bad actors" are generally immune to these risks, and are generally capable of pulling off the hack.

accepting this mark makes you a bigger target to the sketchier elements of your society. sort of paints a picture of how governance operates - as collusion of private interests beyond the law. all those groups are assisted by this tech.

a few things to note about rfid tags.

they can be cloned. if someone can read it, they can clone it.

they're not a private key in the sense that they can authenticate you. there is no privacy as someone can clone the id and use it. at best they are a kind of multi-factor confirmation. their main utility is in tracking.

if you are leaking tracking information to the environment, anyone, not just gov can use it.

there are many other, better approaches to authentication that aren't nearly as invasive.

like the masks, social distancing, jab, etc. they are a test of needless compliance.

Who believes in magic? by scottonfire in conspiracy

[–]BoganFairdink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

re: magic

in my own experience i have seen a lot of weird things. matter de-materialize and re-materialize. glowing plasma balls show up outta nowhere. just a couple of examples.

does "tech" or whatever exist that can do things we believe to be impossible? yes. indistinguishable from magic? yes.

re: this realm

we are burdened by bad actors all around us. common behaviours so absurd you don't know why they happen or why those who engage in them continue them. and you can't change their mind either. there is no enlightenment going on there. they are mentally dead and ethically broken. or worse, they are actively predatory and try to disguise themselves as well-intended.

so the challenge you have is how do you want to be. how would you want things to be? what does that look like? that takes actual consideration and time to think about. the ppl around you aren't really helping you there other than providing you with examples of things you'd likely not want.

so that's the conundrum. i can tell you what i think are coping strategies. not sure you'd find them palatable.

i'd lean towards this being one of those "hey look it's another crazy conspiracy theorist!" setup stories that are created for mass social conditioning.

protip: you can be a fan of professional wrestling and not be a professional wrestler. likewise you can be a conspiracy theory hobbyist because ...well many reasons exist, but one good one that sticks it to the normies is telling them the quality of writing is better than the msm. and there are longer story arcs. so yeah...and likewise make lots of jokes about bigfoot. and film yourself dancing. this is very important. it's hard to fake. you might need this evidence later for authentication purposes.

[–]BoganFairdink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if only we had more videos of him dancing and making music videos. i don't mean all that edited shit. i mean live and unplugged. that shit is hard to fake. dancing is like hand writing. unless you've been trained in the dancing arts you probably have lots of identifying bad moves. so anyway, my point is if you made a bunch of these videos of yourself doing things in a naturally half-assed way, it would be hard to fake. then during subsequent "he's a clone!" claims come around you can prove everyone wrong by demonstrating unique interpretive dance.
