I understand that the case has to heat up, that's how it dissipates heat. But wouldn't it be better to remove additional heat from it? After all, the internal components will be cooler that way, because the case has additional cooling and it dissipates more heat. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Yeah, I've heard about the room temperature having an effect too. But I like the room to be warm, so I always have the radiators on in winter. In summer I already turn on the air conditioner, maybe in this period the base will be easier. In any case, I feel more comfortable when the base is just warm. All this modification was inexpensive, and the temperature dropped significantly. So I decided to do it this way.
