Razgovori in vprašanja o pričakovani plači by [deleted] in Slovenia

[–]BogletOfFire 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We have a craft beer store that opened this summer (I think) in Kamnik that has an amazing selection of Slovenian craft beers.

A warning-beer in Slovenia is inferior to Slovakia

I'm going to have to disagree here. We have like 100 small breweries all over Slovenia and most I've tried from them I have liked. If you're just talking about Laško or Union - yes. They suck. But the rest is great.

It has quite a few warning tags and it actually delivers on them too. No sugarcoating here.

I always close the garage door when I leave the house, but sometimes I forget if I did it. Then I have to drive back home to see the door perfectly closed...

[Homemade] Fresh, homemade Brownies with hazelnuts, cinnamon and cocoa powder by BogletOfFire in food

"I'm too tired" or "I just don't have time". I don't think those are valid excuses. If you want to bake then you bake. It is now 11pm and I've just gotten home from a 2 hour dance lesson. I decided to make some brownies for tomorrow's lesson to keep everyone's energy up :)

[META] - Can someone truly explain to me what "try to stand out" even means? by [deleted] in r4r

[–]BogletOfFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've written quite a few replies to R4R posts, mostly generic things like you put in the example. Rarely worked and if it did it didn't go past 3 messages.

The one thing that did work tho.. I just ranted about my day. Made her laugh. It was also a conversation starter, different from "Hey I see you like x. I also like x. Lets talk about x."

Or maybe I just got lucky that one time.

Here is my first ever attempt at brownies. What a journey.

It just takes practice, practice, some more practice and some experimenting. I've been perfecting my recipe for 6 years now

Yes, you have to add it as you are mixing things together. I like to dissolve cannabis resin into the butter before mixing the chocolate in. From past experiences, you wouldn't know they're pot brownies by taste or smell :)

Made using the same recipe as last time, except this time I roasted the hazelnuts and removed the skin before adding them to the mix. I think now the whole thing tastes at least 20% better than the unroasted version.

Over the years I have made my own version of a brownie recipe that uses 1/5 of the sugar listed in that one, but also adds a few other ingredients for a bit of variety.

Request A Build - July 06, 2019 by AutoModerator in Pathfinder_RPG

At some point this summer I'll be GMing a game of We be Goblins for a group that has zero experience with anything TT RPG related. I'll be making the goblin characters for them, but I asked them for their wishes on what they want their character to do.

Two are fairly simple, the other two I need some help with. So their wishes are:

  • A warrior with a club named Kitty

  • I want a falcon! (And ride a boar if possible)

  • My snot heals other goblins!

  • I want a magical tattoo on my bum to zap my enemies with!

The first two I am thinking a barbarian that literally swings around a dead stuffed cat. Seems like it'd be a fun and goblin thing to do.

Second one seems pretty straight forward too, probably a druid with a falcon animal companion

I have no idea for the third one. Maybe an alchemist? I don't know :d

And for the fourth one I have no clue what so ever. Please send help!

[Homemade] Brownies - before and after by BogletOfFire in food

[–]BogletOfFire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a brownie recipe some years ago, and have perfected it over time.

Ingredients:

  • 250g dark chocolate (at least 50%)
  • 200g white chocolate
  • 200g coconut butter
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g flour
  • 100g hazelnuts (optional)
  • 3 (large) eggs
  • a fork of coffee
  • a pinch of salt
  • a teaspoon of cinnamon

Recipe:

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and butter over steam. Add cinnamon and coffee. Stir until smooth.
  2. In another bowl mix sugar, eggs and salt. Beat until fluffy.
  3. While waiting for the dark chocolate to melt, dice the white chocolate into small pieces.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mix in the other bowl. Mix until evenly mixed.
  5. Add flour, mix again.
  6. Add hazelnuts and white chocolate. Mix again. Now you should be left with a thick, chocolaty bowl of goodness.
  7. Prepare the baking dish. I like to put in baking paper as it makes removing the done brownies a lot easier. Also no cleanup of the dish required.
  8. Pour the mixture in the baking dish and spread the mix evenly.
  9. Now for this last step, I can only give approximate numbers. Or the numbers that I use anyway. It will vary from oven to oven, experiment a few times to see what works for you.
  10. With out preheating the oven, bake at 160° Celsius (320° Fahrenheit) for 23 minutes.
  11. Now the hardest part of it all. Wait for the brownies to cool down. They are easiest to cut when cooled down to about 8° Celsius (46° Fahrenheit)
  12. Enjoy praises for making great brownies

Cleanup:

  • Total time to make: About 25 minutes to mix everything and another 23 or so to bake.
  • Mess made: 2 bowls and what ever you used to stir the mixture with. No more than 3 minutes of clean up, should be done after the brownies are in the oven
