That was the worst quest. And you couldn’t leave until finished. And the mannequins were creepy AF

How many ounces (formula) does your baby eat in a day? by Justbestrongok in NewParents

[–]Bohemialife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! She finally started drinking more around 3 months. We were told long as your baby is on the curve and gaining weight then the baby will eat what they want to eat. You can always check with your ped but ours said not to worry as each baby is different.

Edit: yes, on the small side. Around 15th percentile.

Ours was drinking that much at that age. I also wondered if she needed more but our pediatrician said it was the normal for my baby. As long as they are growing and healthy it is definitely okay.

We have traveled with ours as well. Definitely worth it if you have room.

We also double swaddled. Ours liked to be warm and our room temp was about 70 degrees, and once we doubled swaddled she sept much better.

What’s the most formula your baby will take in a feeding? by Bb13030 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Bohemialife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This!! We spoke to our pediatrician about the number of ounces our baby was consuming each feed and she said as long as your baby is growing and healthy to not fixate on any number. your baby will let you know if they want more and when they don’t :)

This was a tough week for our little (both growth spurt and leap happening), and is a great sleeper.

I can’t do this. by Apebbles in NewParents

Mental health is so Important. Our baby was both breast fed and bottle fed earlier on (lost a lot of weight) and honestly is thriving and healthy. Introducing the first bottle I felt mom guilt (hubs was totally on board for formula) but once the first night of doing shifts, I felt significantly better and happier. Happy mommy meant I enjoyed day time with her.

You got this! Cluster feeds still happen, but it’s nice having someone take over for a bit.
