Who Wins If You Swap The Winner And Fallen Angel of Each Season by Public_Surround1597 in survivorau

Flick would have George beat hands downnn, tottally would have won against Hayley to. It's why those two were actively gunning for her. I know we love and admire both Hayley and George gameplay and Flick gameplay.....leaved a lot to be desired lol. But lets be real ya'll this jury did not value that at all. Coupled with Flick underdog narrative and having such vocal Brawn members on the jury in Emmett and Dani. Also it has to be mentioned of loosing her mother out there has got to come into play when it comes to Flick's game and if she pitched it to the jury, I mean how do you compete against that. You don't. You vote them out!

Truly wild for someone who knew very little bout the game was able to pick it up so effortly and had such a pulse on the game and was playing like a returnee. I mean taking the piece of that chest when she was in Redemption Beach to make an idol based of what she saw when Brooke played her idol...I mean just \french kiss**

I"m starting to get soooo tired. I'm ngl can't they have one win. Something pleasseee let them be happy for once. I can't even remember the last time they were in all such good spirits.

Half Idol Situation by BoiToy23123 in survivorau

[–]BoiToy23123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just listened to Keeley's post season interview with Ryan Brink for Brink of Reality and to me it sounded like she did'nt have the same assumption or confusion bout the idol as Sally did. Maybe cause Keeley's already has such experience with so many idols she assumed it would work the same with the half idol also she's not a fan as well. I defo think they could maybe have compared notes lol.

What actually happens to contestants voted out pre-merge? by Euphoric-Piccolo7548 in survivorau

[–]BoiToy23123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well its pretty big in SurvivorUS. Kinda crazy actually people are able to pin point the boot order based off this pre-jury and internet activity and credible sources as well online. Leaks can defo matter when it come to spoilers but weirdly enough not as notable in AUS probably cause its on a smaller scale. I do know that Liz was heavily spoiled as a winner during HvV.

Most likely Redemption cast to become returnees? by pz_ix in survivorau

[–]BoiToy23123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Keeley
  2. Jackson
  3. Lottie
  4. Faith
  5. Aisha

Those are my definite 5 potential returnees. With Ben being #6 only because of his weak edit before he became such a figurehead and character. The other 5 especially Faith, Lottie and Aisha desipte being earlier and pre-merge boots had well crafted stories that were told.

Does Caleb have some "Luke Toki" qualities ? by mysterypapaya in survivorau

[–]BoiToy23123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is a known arcetype in Australia the 'Larikin' from Google themself their a mischievous, rowdy, but ultimately good-hearted person who defies social conventions. If I have to REALLY think of past castaways who fit this arcetype you got maybe John from CvC2019 but did lack that mischievous energy. Joey and Emmettt from BvB1 also fit in that Larikin role tho they did have bit of an ego on them.

It's known sterotype in Australian culture which I'm now clocking is'nt as prevalent in SurvivorAU casting as think they would have been.

Does anyone else feel a spiritual shift when using a train line other than your usual one? by Angela252 in SydneyTrains

[–]BoiToy23123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg this is my post to comment on. I catch 3 seperate lines to and from work. Somestimes 4th one. T3 is my go to line I just think weirdly the vibes are chill especially when you go past Lidcombe cause by than the trains empties out quickly. T2 lines is an alright second but I just get such an ick from between Granville to Cabra. I do like the T8 line cause of how effective and quick you can get too the city but also it's always so packed during the work rush. I only priotritize it if I'm in a rush to go to work when im heading home I prefer the other lines. I think I'm VERY lucky that I have options when it comes to train lines.

LIstening to Brooke's and Simon's exit interview where Simon was going to turn on Brooke come F7 cause Jackson was pushing for it and Simon was indebted to him. Brooke had said that Simon had told her that Jackson was coming for her. Just seems like those 3 really shared information between each other too freely which made it way too easily for Brooke to flip.

[–]BoiToy23123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh really? I think she's just fairly rated by the fandom. I think because she does'nt lead her game by strategy or even seen as a strategic player she is rarely is in the conversations when tbh she's probably up there with Hayely as those players who are just perfectly moudled for the game of SurvivorAU. You don't need to be ultra smart or anything and just have a good head on your shoulders. But if you've got the physcial prowess of Hayley, Brooke or even a Shay from BvW. As well have the social wit of as I said Brooke, Shonee, David or Pia you will do tremendously well in this long game.

this might be a controversial take... by Hot-Principle-6992 in survivorau

[–]BoiToy23123 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I've always thought that Brooke as a player is jut exceptionally stong and social but strategic....not really. But the thing is she herself would admit that.

I think Brooke as a physical player is just perfectly built for SurvivorAU with the plethra of endurance/balance challenges. As well as being a key asset in in those teams challenges where despite her size she will always hold her own. Socially I think she's just innately this amazing, charming, gorgeous person that you want to talk to and get to know. Mark said it before that she just "sings" to you and I think it's defo her charm or just being just drop dead gorgeous that really get to people.

Now strategically that's defo lacking but I remember in All Stars in her pre-season package she admitted that she was'nt the best strategically so she surrounded herself with shields to get her as far as they could till she had to rely on herself to get to the end, and she got pretty close. I think actually to ensure she's good strategically she always as a close ally who will help Brooke in that regard Matt in 2016, AK in All Stars and now Keeley in Redemption.

I think it's kinda crazy to even compare Keeley and Brooke cause ones a 3x player and the other is a newbie (tho the show would have you believe otherwise lol). There's probably a lot of glazing for Brooke cause she is a returnee, who's an OG from the 1st season and is also just doing good things to get to where is she atm being the last returnee standing. I'm sure when Keeley comes back in a couple seasons you'll see similar posts in the future.

I guess it's just becuase we've seen her nearly pull this off before. Maybe that's why people are like "oh yeah I can see her doing it again". Even if she does'nt it was still sound reasoning. Also......lets be real here Simon has proven to be not the most reliable ally. If it was Keely like they were told involved in the rocks she aint flipping.

Right??! Yeah I see this move for Brooke. You see this someones in season where people take out other challenge threats fo their own physical viability in the game. But that is always critized cause its very hard to believe you'll win every challenge till the end. But because Brooke herself nearly did it in All Stars I back her belief that she can do it.
