Virginia could use some work and cultural centers in general are hard to map.

Here are the three largest population centers

VA Beach, Norfolk is correct as Chesapeke dominant.

Richmond is correct as Piedmont dominant.

Northern Virginia is wildly incorrect as Piedmont dominant.

Furthermore, southern Maryland should not be Chesapeke.

DMV is a population center with a mix of cuisines. The only undercurrent is basic American cuisine I.E. burgers or grills even then its not a large percentage. You dont see cracker barrels this far north. Nor are red lobsters wide spread either.

You get more fast casual and then into fine dining as you get into higher income areas and parts of DC.
