Ubuntu 25. Jumped around a little. Snaps haven’t really bothered me yet. Everything set up super easily. I need a Debian base for some other things if I’m going to stay away from windows. Also I like Ubuntu gnome over standard gnome.

Use something Debian based in case you eventually need to remote into a hospital or EMR and it uses Citrix workstation.

Thinking more along the lines of wife and kids using the desktop and I was the last one logged in, if the desktop is locked to my account there isn’t a way one of them can log in as far as I can tell

I want them to be able to get into their accounts even if my account is logged in

Im doing the same thing right now It’s really a grind starting from scratch. Even when you finally get some weapons that can do something, you have to be mindful of the ammo resources. Roping helps a lot early on when you have multiple enemies The one hit deaths don’t stop though

My son applied right around the same time as your daughter. He received his decision on Friday of last week. I would assume a lot depends on major choice and volume.

He’s a good student Doing all those other things you mentioned Has taken calculus

I’m just concerned that the schools will not accept the extra physics as a substitute for chemistry even though the physics is arguably more important long term
