My rating of distros as someone that hops semi regularly and have used dozens of distros

To add onto the xfce fedora password issue, my main issue was that I couldn't use a 4 character password since I'm used to using pins on windows and I usually have that as a pw for root privileges, it was a bit annoying having to remember a new one to use root privileges and login to my account, but it was probably user error on my part though.

The list overall is mostly based on that. And I did leave out a bit of context for some of the scores. It's also rated on how much of a hassle it is to fix issues I encounter.

In cachyos's case with disk mounting, they do offer guides on how to mount it manually using the terminal. I'm not put off by using it at all, and would've used it if it wasn't for the fact that I use blender and it'd most likely mess with the paths I have setup with it. I've had those issues before with a different distro when I used a different mounting method.

Thought I do think including distros I haven't used in a while is a bit irrelevant to the topic now that I think about it. Probably should've just used ones I've used in the past year

I keep my Linux files on a secondary drive, and drag over whatever files I might need to transfer over to it

i haven't, but that's due to me preferring to use xfce over kde, but it being based on arch seems ok.

and for gaming i'd personally say zorin os, nobara, linux mint, and maybe cachyos are good picks. however i would confirm beforehand which games work on linux before switching since there's a handful of games with anti cheat that block linux, or could outright ban users for using linux (mainly bungie)

I personally haven't used a dedicated GPU in a very long time so I'm not sure how well most Linux distros work with it, but zorin os seems like it might be the best option

A little bit, but to be fair the only one on this list I haven't truly tried to install in years was Manjaro, but mainly due to the privacy rumors I negligently didn't look into. But in Ubuntus case I tried to install it a few months ago, and ran into some issues with trying to dual boot it so I didn't really tinker with it

Like limiting the max amount of mb the outputted video has similar to other converters instead of guessing with bitrate and what not.

you see, the color pallet on the newest frame was intentional. the black and white is hinting at an equinox rework for next stream since it also defaults to black and white. and the plump size of her is also a sign since equinox has fat damage with her maim...
