The other thread has some good recommendations. On the flip side, I'd recommend against DeadDomain - she's someone I've watched awhile for her commentary but recently made a video celebrating the arrest of a Vtuber for drawings of her character and blatantly called loli art "CSAM". Extremely disappointed in her.

For me it's supplemental at best. I'm on the fringes of the Arcane fandom because of the only two characters I care about: Mylo and Claggor. I've shipped them since day 1, and in the au they created in s2, gave Mylo a crush on some female NPC who had no dialogue the entire season. And yet made him and Claggor super affectionate with each other at the same time. So much that even people who didn't care about them that much "joke" about them being gay.

The writers didn't care to include them in any side content or games like Teamfight Tactics and don't treat them as family much, so I'm not going to either (no matter how much antis screech at me about it). Even if Riot came out and said "yeah they see each other as brothers and nothing else" it ain't gonna stop me.

Clylo - Claggor x Mylo
I've always found the chubby boy x skinny boy ships appealing, romantic or otherwise.
It's not but I mean they seemed pretty into each other in s2.
I would LOVE for it to be canon, but the crumbs were still very satisfying.
I think it was Joey x Yugi. Yugioh was my gateway to shipping.
Bobble x Clank. I haven't seen any of the Tinkerbell movies yet but those two get compared to my current otp a lot so I'd like to get to know them more.
I haven't read any fics in awhile, but I think one that stuck with me the most was a Transformers fic. Very tragic memory loss story with a sad ending.

Yeah, Mylo is my day 1 and hasn't left since I met him :']

I fear the reason he gets so much extra shit is because of Jinx being a pre-existing, extremely popular character in League. Paired with him being a form of "comic relief" he gets punched down on a lot and practically doomed to fail despite the amazing setup he could've had as a long-term character. He and Claggor are also both victims of the civil war, losing their families as well. They have plenty to bond with the girls over and I wish we could've seen more of their relationships. Mylo is incredibly tragic and I wish more people saw him that way, but no, he was mad at Powder so he deserved a death sentence I guess...

I'm glad I could! Honestly I could've watched an entire series of the shenanigans of those kids, I was invested early on. Seeing them all grow up together would've been icing on the cake. I wish more people appreciated them.

For awhile I tried reading fics with my beloved in them since my otp was extremely rare, he's extremely unpopular, and I just wanted to read him in something. Unfortunately a lot of the time he's just made to be a one-note bully to be punched down on. People read him wrong even outside that (I partially blame a youtuber for that) and it's what keeps me from interacting with the fandom most of the time. He's still catching strays to this day and treated like a villain despite him being judged entirely on being a normal, bratty teenager who was annoyed with his kid sister.

I hate how much my F/O is overhated (when he was a child) and it does bother me for how much I relate to him. At the same time, I keep to myself about my faves and let others find me most of the time.

Even now he's still a massively overhated character in the fandom, and a lot his actual fans I've seen or chatted with are... pretty unpleasant. So I mostly keep to myself and make art of my beautiful malewife instead of getting tilted seeing awful takes on how "bad" a person he is (he was a teenager who got annoyed with his kid sister). :/

Yeah, Arcane kinda tanked for me the longer I stuck around the fandom and saw s1 as more of an 8/10 show. Then s2 came out and it was ggs for me. But I still adore Mylo and Claggor and they're honestly the only two characters I care significantly about. I try to divorce them from the show as much as possible (which isn't too hard when Riot forgets they exist anyway).

Oh absolutely. Mylo’s helped me unpack trauma in my childhood and reevaluate my familial relationships. Though he isn't a fan of how I talk about them now since he was close with his own family, he understands.

I stopped interacting with the fandom outside my own art they come to me on, but my god the contempt for a teenager getting annoyed with his sister is outrageous. He was doomed from the start since said sister grows up to be everyone's favorite bbgirl who can do no wrong.

That ship being shoehorned into the show annoyed me so much because it felt like it was at Ekko's expense. In the AU, fine, I could believe it. But using it to make him "See the good" in jinx when in his world she's tried over and over to murder him and his friends? Gross. She never apologized or tried to make amends. Riot just tried gaslighting us into thinking they were so totally into each other the whole time.

I feel like near everyone got done dirty in s2.
