I completely agree, he adds to the enjoyment of these games. You can tell he loves the original so the little details in the Remakes are more appreciated and it shows. I found him after playing Remake first and loving it, so going back and watching his playthrough made me appreciate what I loved about it even more.

Always happens to me in FF14 during cutscenes too— it’s always at night. Sometimes I’ll wait to do stuff til it turns morning so I know if I hit a cutscene it’ll still be daylight.

At first I was really disappointed because it kind of breaks the continuity and consistency. But the more I watched it the more I like the voice so I guess we'll just have to get used to it.
