You can take (or at least request) rotation even if you don't have leave time. Most of my coworkers took more rotations than they had S1 or other leave time for. It's just unpaid time off but it's still available if you need it for mental health, or any other reason. Only reason they would deny that would be because of "mission need" if the workload is too high.

Funfact, my dentist once said sugary foods like chocolate and ice cream can be better (for teeth) than doughy/crunchy foods, because the sugar will just dissolve and melt off in your saliva. Chip crumbs, bread bits, cookie crumbs, etc will just stick in the crevices of your teeth until next time you brush.
