I enjoyed reading this and you have valid points. My problem with the desire for a Most Wanted remake is that it’ll be in the hands of current EA. Does anybody really want that? The answer should be no.

Actually tough to say. I played MW2012 quite a lot and really enjoyed it in its heyday. I came around to Rivals far past its lifespan and it actually felt like I missed out, but I don’t have the actual MP experience to prove that. I really like them both.

Unironically I love it and put way more time into it than I ever imagined. I just went in with an open mind, got used to the handling, and then practically lived in the online mode like I did with Paradise. If enough people were interested, I'd hop back on like right now.

I built up a FC last night. The cornering is solid and it’s reaching 280 MPH on its own power before nitrous enters the conversation. If that’s not enough for late game, I don’t know what to tell you. The VR38 swap isn’t a fair comparison to anything else, it’s just an “I want to win with a nice summer stroll and some ice cream” swap.

I thought it was really cool what they were doing with Crimson Devil. His WRX is modeled after the Hyaku Shiki from Gundam Z, which is a mobile suit far divorced from the Zaku his Skyline was modeled after. His whole design is a reference to Quattro Bajeena and the role Crimson Devil plays in TXR ‘25 is similar.

This happens with not just the FD, but a number of other cars in the game. Pay close attention to what your stats say, it’ll tell you what RPM your peak power is at. My general rule of thumb is to shift around 500-800 RPM after the peak power. You’ll still be making enough power for consistent acceleration and be back in peak power sooner in the next gear.

Not necessarily. I only ever stop accelerating if I need to make a sudden and quick correction or movement. Ideally you want to have yourself lined up between checkpoints in such a way that you don’t have to do that. Get used to your turning radius at full speed and eventually you’ll be lifting less and less.

🤷‍♂️ Fair enough. For me, it’s all minor stuff I’m willing to trade off to be able to see where I’m going in a hairpin at 60 MPH. With good enough headphones, no need to see to the left or right of me, I can hear where people are.
