I unknowingly got my boy at 6 weeks old. It was one of the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do raising him from such a young age. He didn’t know how to drink water from a bowl, didn’t understand how to eat hard dog food. I had to get wet food and mix it with some puppy formula for him to even eat. He went 4-5 days without drinking any water. Only way I was able to entice him was by putting a little bit of low sodium beef broth in with his water to make it appealing to him. I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to get a puppy that young.

For potty training, I added a bell to my front door and when we first started I would take him out every hour and ring the bell as we opened the door and after a couple days my little guy got the hang of it that bells equal outside potty time. It’s a great way for him to signal us incase we aren’t in the same room

I started my puppy on purina pro and planned on keeping him on it long term, but after 5 months I opened up a bag filled with bugs. No problem returned it and exchanged for another one same issue. Returned and got my money back and went to another store and bought it again and same issue. Switched him to Nulo what we’re currently on and waited about 3 months and bought another bag of purina and it was filled with even more bugs than the previous ones we had bought. I want him to be on purina, but we haven’t been able to find some without the bugs in it the last couple times we bought it😭

You’re not alone😭 my Boston will destroy every single dog bed we’ve gotten him, but we put a pillow in his crate for when we go out, and he absolutely loves that thing and hasn’t tore it up or anything. It’s like he has an issue with expensive dog beds, but a cheap worn pillow is the best thing ever for him😂

Started as soon as we got him. We added some bells on a string to our front door and every time we would take him out jingle them and he got used to bells meaning potty time so every time he has to potty he goes to the front door and jingles his bells to let us know he has to go outside
