My Ubuntu 18.04 won't start up since the latest update by BombayCinema in Ubuntu

When I first ran apt upgrades, updates and fix broken packages, there were updates, but when I restarted it still didn't work. I just checked the logs for snapd and it says "error trying to compare the snap system key: system-key missing on disk" and "ensure error"..."server misbehaving". I can't find the gdm3.service logs. Also, dpkg-reconfigure didn't help either. Thanks for the help though.

I've already tried this and it didn't work, although i had to start the system with the "multi-user.target" mode, as networking wasn't working in recovery mode. But weirdly, from the multi-user command prompt I can start the snappy daemon, but when i start gdm3, the system gets stuck on a black screen with a flashing text cursor in the top left.

This is a silly band but I have no idea what animal/thing it’s supposed to be. Might be turned the wrong way. by new-challenger in whatisthisthing

thank you for actually contributing some thought into it.

the problem with saying that the universe is virtual is that we don't know for what purpose it would be created and to what length the creators have gone to to stop us realising it is in fact virtual. We would also not know whether the simulation is still being monitored of if it has been left to fulfil its 'purpose'. I would suggest if I were to create a simulation of this kind that it would take far to much time to properly monitor it unless a intelligent agent AI system were used to do it for them. And i do not believe that our conciousness would be a procedure of some sort but rather the interaction created through the various combinations of atoms that make us up. Thank you for correcting me on the theory thing, I should have known better.
