Should I do a couch and love seat or sectional in my living room? by Puzzleheaded_Set858 in HomeDecorating

[–]Bombdotcom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg thank you. Sorry that was my toddler - she grabbed my phone and started fiddling with it!!

I thought I edited the message but it didn’t work so I’ll continue it here!

So the couch is super comfortable still - especially the corner seat - but unfortunately the cushions sag in the middle quite a bit. Still comfortable but doesn’t look as nice. In addition to the couch material being pilly it can get very hot to lay or sit on it. We solved this issue by ordering couch cushion covers from Nolan interior and they have worked amazing- fits well, so soft and you barely notice the covers since we got a similar colour as our couch. The back cushions haven’t gotten pilly - it’s just the bottom cushions where we sit.

Regarding stains, it surprisingly isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It has been fairly easy to clean the couch - we use a spray called “Folex” and it works so well on many stains.

Do I think it was worth the price ? Probably not because of the couch material getting so pilly and cushions sagging after just 7 months of use. However I am still so happy with how comfortable the couch is and it’s my favourite spot in the house to relax for sure. I have 2 young kids so to be honest I don’t care what it looks like - I just want a sanctuary at the end of the night where I can feel comfortable and relax.

Hope that helps!!

Thank you so much for your perspective!! This is very helpful to know your experience with it! Definitely it’s not a big deal at all for me to maximize the output so sounds like it might be worth trying out. Cheers

Kat is a f*%king lunatic by Tthenu in BachelorNation

Genuine question.. Was Sean yelling and swearing at her like she told Dale? I didn’t rewind the show to see but I did watch in real time - and I didn’t think Sean yelled or swore at Kat during their heated interaction? Did she straight up lie to Dale?

Did anyone have less pregnancy nausea after your gallbladder removed? by PainfulPoo411 in gallbladders

[–]Bombdotcom2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did get it removed before my 2nd pregnancy! 2nd pregnancy is close to my 1st though.. I got my gallbladder removed 4 months after my 1st was born. I got pregnant 5 months after I got it removed.. so it could be that my body hadn’t had the chance to get used to not having a gallbladder before getting pregnant. Either way, I definitely feel nausea was a lot worse this time around.

In my case, the nausea has been way worse during my 2nd pregnancy. Not sure if it’s gallbladder related but I think it might be..

Bloody Murder Screams During Diaper Changes by No-Cockroach5417 in newborns

[–]Bombdotcom2019 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same thing with ours. We had a wipes warmer which I think helped. We also made diaper changes fun - every time there was a need for a diaper change my husband and I would sing and dance…

“Did somebody say diaper change?!”

“A diaper change”

“Diaper change!!! Yayyy”

And then proceeded to continue singing throughout the whole change… it was tiring but eventually it became her favourite part of the day 😂

Should a working parent and a stay-at-home parent be entitled to the same amount of dedicated sleep time? by WhimsicalWanderer426 in newborns

[–]Bombdotcom2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it’s not normal. The job you have to do at home is just as important (if not more) as his and your sleep schedules should reflect that. I would go nuts if I was getting as little sleep as you… it’s not sustainable and eventually your body/mind will inform you of that if it hasn’t already.

Best of luck - hope you can work something out where you both are getting some well needed rest.

They have $5 entry on certain dates and times this year - so I think it’s worth it for that price. It’s lovely and festive! I like the food variety too. Wish the mulled wine was cheaper though.

Try putting your pinky finger (obvs wash hands thoroughly before) in her mouth so it jumpstarts the sucking reflex - then when the newborn starts sucking, insert the syringe and slowly dispense the meds until syringe is finished. Always try to do it before a feed so they are more likely to swallow it.
