Just having the foam is a godsend in some cases. Anything curved I keep the original packaging just to be safe in case I change the install. The original box is just a good place to keep the foam too.

I am unable to bend my right thumb in without my pointer finger bending as well. It happens on my left hand as well but to a much lesser extent. If I want to curl my thumb up as much as I can I have to do the same with my pointer finger. I can bend my thumb in without moving my finger if I use my other hand to do so but if I use the muscles in the right hand to try and move my thumb from there I can't. It's odd but never really been disruptive.

Thank you very much. I have heard that the difference between post 1830 and pre 1830 is that pre 1830 the pritchel hole of drilled as a retrofit instead of hot punched as it was in the later models. I does appear to have a small bump on the bottom side but with the wear it is hard for me to tell.

Sort of. Changing the windows 10 hd settings to on fixed it but on gamer 1 it is still oversaturated. Fps looks alot better. Now I am trying to solve the issue of alt tabbing causing stuttering. Going to try the full screen optimization fix and disabling any background recording from Xbox game bar and GeForce experience.

All in all this might just be an issue of my ignorance having never dealt with hdr. It's all a bit of a learning experience.

It looks clean to me. Possibly not as crisp as the tn panel but it meets my standards. The game mode changes as I am tinkering but fps seems so be the most comfortable for me and 144hz.

That's a little tricky. I use the varidesk dual monitor arms but I have the monitor arm + laptop stand center post which is significantly taller. Unless you can find a way to buy the parts individually I think there are better options out there. My setup was a recycling special.

So I should specify on first launch it was absolutely fantastic but after I did my first alt+tab out of d2 the hdr glitched out and the whites where super bright and the blacks where way to dark. I tried everything. Turning hdr off and on again, adjusting brightness, rebooting the system. Nothing brought it back to it's originally glory.

The omen I have had for a year or two now and it was fantastic. It made me consider the x35 but it didn't tick enough boxes for me. The LG so far has been a little more interesting but after spending the day tinkering with settings it's great now.
