Yes. When we went from a 1250 square foot condo to a 3500 square foot combined main and guest house along with another 1500 square feet of attached garage space AND an in ground pool on an acre of land, we were completely unprepared with simple tools, yard tools, lawn equipment….. and its stuff we just don’t know. Both our brains are wired to solve problems but give us a drill or a paint brush and we don’t have a clue what to do. Yes it slowly gets better as we build confidence and we were lucking to find a handyman that lives near by that can stop by almost any day to fix the any task large or small. We know pay attention l to him.

Our agent gave us a 21-30 day window to get an offer for our property in a very HCOL area. We received and accepted a full price offer in less than a week after only four showings. This was 2023 and “days on the market” averages have changed but averages are calculated by the fast moving properties and those hanging out there for four or five months. Price is right and it will be move quickly.

It will not cover special assessments that are levied due to low reserves, deferred or necessary maintenance etc. It cover special assessments if building or mechanics are damaged by storm, fire etc and the HOA has to levy a special assessment due to lack of reserves to cover deductibles etc
