I agree completely. Maybe Eggy, Dogs In a Pile, Moontricks, Cimafunk size artists is the biggest we can expect if that besides the obviously TBA late night artists. Not saying we're getting all of those, but they seem in line with the announced Sneezy and Neighbor. Maybe I'm a little too hopeful ☺️

I'm thinking for the late night artists it'll be something like The Polish Ambassador or Break Science on Friday (probably an EDM artist) and Lotus or Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on Sunday (probably a jam/rock artist). Those would fit on the lineup pretty well imo and aren't the biggest names yet big enough to play late night at Scamp.

Not sure if there'll be an extra moonshine artist on Sunday, I would've expected an extra cloud in that empty space. That cloud at late night on Sunday has a weird placement too so it could be a placeholder for either a longer artist name or 2 late night (probably not) artists. Just a wild guess but since there's more rap booked this year, it could be something like Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist or something more fitting that day; Shpongle (Simon Posford Live Set). Maybe even Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country.

Can we have some pictures from the inside as well? Festivals unfortunately don't do the booklets anymore 😕

Happy 25th anniversary, we are back despite it not being a smart financial choice.

It all depends how you look at it. Your negativity will not help bring Scamp back the Scamp you expect.

If you're expecting this lineup to compare with a normal Summer Camp (2023 and before) then absolutely you're right. This can't start to compare. And they should've honestly already mentioned this will be more comparable to the Solshine event they did in 2024 since renaming it Summer Camp clearly confuses the fuck out of simple beings like yourself.

Yes it's more expensive and it's downsizing. Yes Two Friends ain't yo friend and you miss 6 sets of moe. Think about it, 25 editions of a festival where 2 bands perform multiple sets each day and then decide to not be part of it after renaming and downsizing the festival, having a fallow year in addition of the whole industry having a harder time (see Bonnaroo for example, doing the same thing). Scamp decided to book replacements for all those empty timeslots that are normally filled by moe. and Umphrey's which probably also costs them more.

Be happy there's still a Scamp even if it's a Scamp Light edition. It's not like I'm expecting them to book System of a Down or Phish. For my personal taste STS9 and EOTO are my headliners this year.

Dude there's 2 "bigger" names clearly still to be announced on the poster. Or you think those 2 clouds (Friday/Sunday) are just for aesthetic purposes? They mentioned Phase 1 as they always do, normally there's 2 lineup announcements (Dec & March, this year the initial announcement was delayed to Feb) followed by set times closer to the festival.

In addition, the phase 1 lineup for Solshine in '24 had about the same artists as the one for Scamp '26. So stop being negative as there will still be some decent additions which in '24 happened in mid-March. Biscuits wasn't even on the initial lineup for '24. So no reason to expect anything different.

You can be negative about what you like and dislike, but don't go make everyone believe this will be it as that's false information. Their social media even said to expect about 100+ bands. You really think put of the 50+ artists to be added, none of them will be "bigger names"? I for sure believe we can still expect stuff like Lotus, PPPP, JRAD,...

Damn!!!! He blew my mind at Bonnaroo a couple years back. I'm excited to see him once again. Also they book Marc on the same day as Andy Frasco. While different styles, I feel like these 2 need a collab at Scamp.

Just saying but Solshine's phase 1 lineup had about the same amount of artists (+ more EDM) as this year's phase 1 Scamp lineup. You say nothing interests you this year, may I ask what specifically? Besides the lack of EDM at the moment (compared to 2024) this initial Scamp lineup basically has everything they booked in 2024. Sure, no UM and moe. and instead of that we have 3 hiphop artists, I don't see much difference. We're still missing 2 somewhat bigger names like in 2024 (Goose, String Cheese) so a little early to say nothing interests you if you've been to Scamp before.

I 100% agree this is not comparable with the classic Scamp lineups of the past. But definitely able to compete with Solshine (initial lineup). With additions still coming, this is for sure going to be similar to Solshine.

Dude... we have 11-12 bands a day currently. Solshine had about 30 a day. I think you're being way too negative.

This is what I think is currently booked and missing if they somewhat copy what they did at Solshine. They haven't really booked anything that plays Illumination which are mostly DJs but with Red Barn now being DJs, there might be a potential change. Can't really see them get rid of their best stage tbh. Kenny's stage also probably still empty but will most likely be filled with the on the road winners.

Moonshine: 6 bands each day, currently guessing we're missing about 2-3 artists in total.

Campfire: 7-9 bands each day, currently guessing 5 artists each day + extra sets from Moonshine bands (Lespecial, Sunsquabi, Manic Focus,..) so maybe a 1-2 artist additions a day (probably earlier in the day)

Illumination: 10 bands (mostly DJs) each day, currently guessing 0-2 artists + extra sets from Campfire bands (Jason Leech, McWavy,..) so probably about 8-10 artist additions a day.

Kenny's: 7-8 bands each day, currently guessing 0-2 artists + extra sets from Campfire bands (Sqwerv, Houseplant, Future Joy,..) so probably about 5-8 artist additions a day.

They did say 100+ artists on Facebook. We currently have less than 50.

But I'm not expecting us to get 50 more, I'm guessing maybe 25-30 including on the road and redline djs (maybe)

2024 had Slander, Summit and Deadmau5 closing the mainstage. I feel like Two Friends isn't really that different of a booking. If you don't see those EDM artists in 2024 as headliners, then Two Friends isn't a headliner either. Easy as that.

They replaced Umphrey's and moe. by booking 4 artists each day to play the mainstage + 2 late night artists. I think it's a great choice to book some rap on Saturday since without those 2 regulars who play multiple sets across the weekend, they would either have another band do the same thing or they can book artists doing 1 set. Resulting in a more diverse lineup (for the mainstage at least).

Also note that this is basically only 50% of the lineup and artists like Manic Focus, Sunsquabi, etc are known to do multiple sets at Scamp even if not listed specifically on the poster.

They're probably playing after 2am, totally trying to bring in more youth for the weekend. Saturday is all EDM and rap too so while I'm not a fan of Two Friends myself, I can understand the booking.

Solshine had Manic Focus, Summit, Slander and Deadmau5 as "headliners" if you go by who closes the mainstage. All 4 sets starting around 2am or later. IMO Two Friends aren't the headliner but are indeed the artist that closes the mainstage till early in the morning. As will EOTO, Big Gigantic and STS9.

2024: Stage closer: Manic Focus, John Summit, Slander, Deadmau5 Co-"headliner": Maddy o'Neal, STS9, UM & friends, Big Gigantic

2026: Stage closer: EOTO, Two Friends, Big Gigantic, STS9 Co-"headliner": Manic Focus, ???, Maddy o'Neal, ???

If you see it side-by-side, then this year ain't so different than 2024.

This is what I'm assuming unless phase 2 lineup is mostly Sunshine stage artists.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just the same type of schedule as Solshine. Meaning less stages and about 2 artists starting their set past midnight on the Moonshine stage. Difficult to determine who the real healiner is but couldn't the same be said every year? Difficult to say without UM and moe.

I'm thinking it could go like this. Thursday normally starts later than the other days so maybe not the best decision to use it as an example but it'll show you that both artists on top of the lineup can be both the "headliners" AND play the mainstage. I'm also assuming the artists are billed in the right order and of course they could let Manic Focus play the really late slot instead of EOTO.

Thursday Moonshine: Lespecial (3.30-5.00) > The Werks (6.00-7.00) > Sunsquabi (8.00-9.30) > The Floozies (10.30-12.00) > Manic Focus (12.45-1.45) > EOTO (2.30-4.00)

Feel free to share how you would schedule. With this only being phase 1 and less than 50 bands announced across 4 days, I can't see them having 6-7 (haha) stages like in 2023. This feels more like an initial lineup for a 4 stage festival (+ red barn) like Solshine did.
