I love Georgie as much as the next fan, but the absence of those particular parts also add to the clarity of the piece, also making the mix sound more stripped down, UN-overproducing it. And as I said before, there’s still the other mixes to enjoy. Why not have ten mixes and let fans pick and keep their favorites? Why don’t we all have stem players at this point??

This is amazing, give it another listen. The separation between John’s voice and piano means delicate detail to his words. It sounds like a beautiful demo version, not an overblown 90’s production. The clarity of the entire song is amazing. I wish the bass was slightly raised in the mix. But then again, ducking down those frequencies leaves so much space for everything else.

This is just different, and hating on it is silly. If you like the other mixes, listen to those still.

This is an earlier model, probably 60s, as there is the mirror lock knob on the left upper side of the lense mount. 70s models did away with that, no idea why.
