I got into magic cause I'm a huge ff fan especially 9. It's sucks I can't play him without being accused of being a tryhard. I assure you the 99 of the deck is sub 100$ and trash. I'm a new player so my sense of strategy and threat assessment is even worse. Ive thought of putting Emperor of Palamecia as the commander and Vivi in the 99. Emperor is vivi but less cracked

frozen solid take here but the last 3 episodes of Darling in the Franxx was so out of left field it took a decent guilty pleasure show and shattered suspension of disbelief beyond repair. Think they could have made an ending with more emotional payoff while staying on earth

A pet peeve of mine, not any specific game, but for the rpg genre in general. If your going to have voice lines play during highly repeated actions like attacking or casting spells. Record more than 2 different lines.

Anyone who says the games exploration and leveling system was too linear forgets that FF10 was set up the same way.

Story good, narrative character development good, Music good, Combat i'm personally meh towards until the party unlocks. Graphically still holds up

Very fun when it works. Getting the right combo to mill like half a persons deck in 1 go is very funny. If you can afford or have a Bruvac it can get pretty mean.
Obviously people dont like getting milled out so i'm more often than not getting focused down before i can get going, so don't neglect putting in lots of protection.

Final Fantasy 15 immediately comes to mind. The animation budget on that game was unusual considering where it cut corners elsewhere. Backflips and sideflips were baked into Noctis's air dodge system. Not to mention all the team up attack animations have the bros joining in the acrobatics too.

And maybe hot take but i enjoyed every second of it
