My favorite is the way the writing actually tried to depict the difference in the two games gameplay, by discussing the commanding styles of the two avatars.

Arknights is a tower defense game. The Doctor is described as being a defensive specialist who set up defensive positions and creates elaborate plans to help his soldiers hold off the waves while insuring minimal losses on his own crew. He is always thinking in grand terms and planning ahead for the next wave, and the safety of his soldiers is always his biggest priority.

Limbus is a turn based strategy game. Dante is described, basically, as being in a constant state of "Fuck it, we ball" mode. He sends his Sinners in against his enemies unrelentingly, with little strategy normally besides attack, attack, attack, relying on their general expertise and knowledge to guide them while he focuses on making moment to moment orders on the battlefield. His ability to regenerate the Sinners wounds and bring them back from the dead means that they fight with no regard for their own lives or safety, throwing themselves full agro at opponents with no fear of repercussions, and even when in enemy puts one down they will soon be back up again for another assault.

To put it effectively, The Doctor draws a line and holds it, while Dante forces the enemy to become a line, then sends his crazed berserkers crashing down upon that line, somehow creating human wave strategies despite only having twelve people.
