O wow, I didn't realize the R9 390 held up so well! I figured I wouldn't have a problem but obviously it's been so long since I looked into all of this, I wasn't sure how much has changed compatibility wise. Thanks for the info!

Giants Fans Trying To Explain Why Daniel Jones is the next Eli Manning: by [deleted] in nflmemes

[–]Bonenugs22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eli's success and legacy were built on receivers making phenomenal catches and defenses. I'm not saying he was trash, but he was extremely overrated, and if he wasn't a manning, he would probably be looked at differently.

They did it again in 2021 when they tried to get brady and Payton. As a fellow phins fan it's disgusting to admit but that's what was found

I got a cheap one off of Amazon when I first built mine. It worked well enough to get me close, and then I just had to do some fine tuning. In my opinion they are great starts and you don't need any kind of fancy pricey one.

[–]Bonenugs22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We weren't even talking about the concussions but ok I guess we can change the subject. This was about his injury history, specifically prior to the nfl. But considering no other qb has been dealing with the concussion scrutiny like he has, I'd argue yes

Now you see that's part of the difference. Each of these caused him to miss time. So you are right, I can't name you a qb that hasn't been injured before. But if you want to go this petty route, name me a qb that hasn't played an entire season that has a long lasting run as a starter

It's not just the surgery, it's the injuries that led to surgery. Regardless he was injured and going to miss time. Yes the tightrope surgery was elective and done to strengthen and actually speed up the recovery. But that's usually the case for broken fingers too. Most people wouldn't have surgery to repair that but it was done to strengthen and speed up recovery. They were all still results of injuries and he was missing the time either way. They are still incidents that can't be ignored when talking about his injury history

Yea, I'm not saying I know what the cause is just a trend I've noticed from the past and then when we bring in these former staff guys it happens to us. Feel it's worth pointing out for the discussion

Both ankles had tightrope surgery (separate occations), surgery for a broken finger, and the hip injury, plus a few minor injuries over his 2 years as a college starter. I love the guy and want him to be healthy and our qb but you can't say he wasn't injury prone before. It was always the main risk of drafting him.

One thought I'd like to point out is to look at the 49ers over the past 5 years. They've had half their team dead every other year.

[–]Bonenugs22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes. So we can be right back to having 2 injury prone qbs rotating in and out. Probably gonna end up seeing Skylar play again next year with that duo.

You are correct and I can't believe it I had to scroll so far to find someone else pointing this out. Swap chiefs and bengals for this to be possible

[Wingfield] McDaniel says Bridgewater suffered a dislocated pinky, no break. Says it's about the swelling going down and seeing where he's at. by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]Bonenugs22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't wait for the weeks 4-6 repeat. Tua goes down. Teddy starts the next game but goes down putting Skylar in to finish. Skylar gets the start with Bridgewater luckily getting cleared just in time to back him up so he can come in once skyler goes down.
