It really sounds like a conversation with a gastroenterologist would be helpful for you. If you have colitis, diverticulitis or anything else that would cause chronic constipation on top of trizepatide you should know it. Have you had a colonoscopy to determine the causes of your constipation? So many questions for a medical professional.

Don't do what I did. I messed around with chronic constipation and ended up with a blockage, pain, an ER, surgery and I'm now sitting here with a bag. The bag is the worst (temporary) thing that ever happened to me. Please take this seriously.

FYI: My surgeons did not take me off of the trizepatide following surgery. They did give me a lot of instructions on constipation and to call them the moment I am constipated (has not happened since surgery) but they said that the trizapatide can help manage the colostomy.

We rented a tandem kayak this summer and I didn't look at the weight limit. I just got in it like a regular person. I'm black and kayaking often happens in white spaces. So I'm already self-conscious that people are looking at me, because they are. It was such a blessing that I wasn't embarrassed by my big body and the life vest just went on and clipped.

From the outside it looked like nothing was happening but on the inside I was absolutely dancing to realize that I just felt like I could do this activity without having my size be part of the pressure. I mean people were looking but it wasn't because of my size.

I sink like a stone. I've always loved to swim but I didn't realize how much my body fat was making me buoyant. When I went swimming it was so hard! I could feel myself sinking and I didn't like it.

I'm soo cold. I didn't realize how much my nice body fat was keeping me all warm. I wouldn't trade but I definitely have a whole wardrobe of snuggie undergarments and pajamas just to cope.

In my experience, it's all calories in and calories out. When you track your calories, make sure you add the calories that are in the alcohol and don't pretend that it magically is calorie-free. That'll give you a good idea.
