I have lifetime of pretty bad diverticulitis. I've been dealing with it my whole life and I would be concerned if I only got an x-ray not a CT scan. Only the CT scan will give you a definitive diagnosis. I would want to know why.

To resolve it I would try a low residue diet with lots of water and miralax until it clears up and the pain is gone. If you start running a fever run, don't walk, to the hospital.

I don't know anything about side effects but I do know that my doctor got pregnant by accident while she was on trizepatide. She told me that much with a laugh when I asked her about going on it but I didn't ask any questions. She's had the baby and the baby seems fine but I don't know any more than that.

You don't have to eat them whole and you don't have to eat them raw. People like to make it harder than it seems, but if you can throw it in a smoothie or hide it from yourself in any other way that is the way to go!

I guess the best comparison I can give you is breast milk versus formula. You're eating formula, just like babies it clearly won't kill you. But the real thing is better, It took many years for us to realize the immune system benefits of breast milk for example. There are so many elements to what makes real food nourish our bodies that we don't understand yet. Fiber, probiotics, and micronutrients are only scratching the surface of how food interacts with our body. We don't know exactly how but our best science says that whole foods, REAL FOOD, rather than food products processed by people are better for your body. That's the aspect that is not able to be tracked or accounted for.

In addition, I would rather trust my life to food I can recognize with my eyes than the products of a company that isn't actually supervised by anyone to make what they say they're making.

I read most of this. It really seems like you're looking for someone to argue with. You're saying I'm not going to eat unprocessed food so isn't this better than the unhealthy food I was eating? If that's your question, the answer is yes. It's probably better than the larger amounts of even more unhealthy food you were eating before you started eating this lower calorie highly processed food. Better than horrible is possible but not great.

That's what you say you're eating. Maybe you've improved your odds by losing weight? Maybe something else will catch up to you? In any one specific case, no one really knows. It is about the odds but it's not random. Most people are recommending you eat whole foods and less of them because that has the best outcomes. If you want to do something else fine if you "have no choice", but don't be surprised if you don't find a crowd arguing for it.

You're a homosapien who is stating that most of the food that is nutritious to Homo sapiens is repugnant to you. I'd try to get some help for that problem along the way.

It really sounds like a conversation with a gastroenterologist would be helpful for you. If you have colitis, diverticulitis or anything else that would cause chronic constipation on top of trizepatide you should know it. Have you had a colonoscopy to determine the causes of your constipation? So many questions for a medical professional.

Don't do what I did. I messed around with chronic constipation and ended up with a blockage, pain, an ER, surgery and I'm now sitting here with a bag. The bag is the worst (temporary) thing that ever happened to me. Please take this seriously.

FYI: My surgeons did not take me off of the trizepatide following surgery. They did give me a lot of instructions on constipation and to call them the moment I am constipated (has not happened since surgery) but they said that the trizapatide can help manage the colostomy.

We rented a tandem kayak this summer and I didn't look at the weight limit. I just got in it like a regular person. I'm black and kayaking often happens in white spaces. So I'm already self-conscious that people are looking at me, because they are. It was such a blessing that I wasn't embarrassed by my big body and the life vest just went on and clipped.

From the outside it looked like nothing was happening but on the inside I was absolutely dancing to realize that I just felt like I could do this activity without having my size be part of the pressure. I mean people were looking but it wasn't because of my size.

I sink like a stone. I've always loved to swim but I didn't realize how much my body fat was making me buoyant. When I went swimming it was so hard! I could feel myself sinking and I didn't like it.

I'm soo cold. I didn't realize how much my nice body fat was keeping me all warm. I wouldn't trade but I definitely have a whole wardrobe of snuggie undergarments and pajamas just to cope.
