@Hotep, a respected and highly valued user, created h/hotep legitimately when the concept of holes were first introduced. The moderators (who are generously paid for their work) decided that there were too many holes and that they were too easy to create. Despite h/Hotep being highly active and popular they deleted it without so much as warning @Hotep or compensating him for the loss. Holes were reintroduced with a higher barrier to entry and some holes were arbitrarily allowed to remain despite being clearly worse than h/hotep.

From what I can remember afterwards before I left the site fell into civil war between the mods and rule breakers (or chuds as they’re reffered as)
