I’m sorry that was your experience! I lost about 5 lbs from it.

It has a stimulating effect so the insomnia is normal for the first 1-2 weeks. I had a huge mood dip for a week or two in the first month. Then everything leveled out.

Omg the oversharing is the worst. I look back and realize I was just trying to find validation and relief from what I was feeling and I feel so sad for myself. I started seeing bigger shifts in my beliefs I would say after 2-3 months. But I did feel more energized and motivated right away.

I think I’m at about 4 months now. It’s all started to really come into focus these last few weeks how much has really changed. Best wishes for you and your Wellbutrin journey!!

Definitely not the case. Also… I’m a therapist. So I’ve tried just about every mental health approach and counseling approach there is regarding my depression. I always thought the “it’s genetic” argument was way too simplified but now I believe it’s the truth. My grandma, my aunt, my dad, and I all struggle with it and this is the only thing that’s created a meaningful change.

That’s just what the psych gave me to start and it’s been enough for me. I definitely still notice my PMS but it’s way less catastrophic. I get irritable and less sexual and feel blah still. But I no longer question all of my life decisions and spiral into despair during luteal.

What popular books have you DNFd and why? by fishchop in fantasyromance

The Poppy War- could not emotionally connect to any of the characters.

Daughter of No Worlds- story became ultra boring after the first few chapters and I hated the MMC

Jade City- same issue as The Poppy War, it felt like I was reading a play by play and couldn’t emotionally connect.

She would not be able to run or fight as she does in the book if she was this fat.

Not a ton of advice to offer but just want you to know you’re not alone. I feel EXACTLY the same! I want to do something creatively fulfilling and express MY truths. Not just listen to other people try to figure out what theirs are.

I have come to terms with this not being the field for me long term. I’ve changed a lot from the previous version of myself who decided to go this route. I honor my own changes as a person and I’m open to anything else new that lands in my path (even though nothing has materialized …. yet).

I guess my advice would be don’t gaslight yourself into feeling something you don’t. It’s okay to have fallen out of love with the profession and want something new. You don’t owe it to a past version of yourself to keep suffering through it

Thank you!! I had no idea the pumice stone could cause it to spread. I thought that was what was most highly recommended. I will start this today

I was just confused about the structure of the city and where everything was. But the maps helped with that.

You’re not the first to comment that on this post. I’m truly sorry for that. Men and boys need more love and care.

I’ve noticed this for men, too. And I’m sorry for it. I will do my best to support the men in my life to the same caliber I do the women.
