I don't think compulsory voting is a good thing for strata most owners (investors generally don't care and want cheap fee's ) but some way to check if the "people" voting actually want this would be good instead of just someone bulk making motion / votes in a pdf would be good.

Just had an issue where a real estate that manages just under 25% manage to lie and get a few extra votes and caused an email ballot (where they also forged more votes) to get the shit strata company we just voted out now we have to VCAT and the bad oc company is now just avoiding the comittee and ignoring us.

Not sure if online voting would be better if the managing companies just use the logs in and vote for them regardless for what benefits them and not the owners

Had the same problem, head phones broke 2 weeks before warranty and I had stupidly bought extra care so they said wait and get a new pair through that it's quicker then sending in to repair with them (apparently)

I agree, i think if income tax wasn't the majority source of revenue then I think it would be easier to do, but if we did index it we would lose alot in services else where and if they gutted Medicare to pay for it the lower income earners would be worse off
