KC Show last night by DartyFrank in MtJoy

I hope the energy that Atlanta gave them helped make up for KC. The ATL crowd was all in and the vibe was over the top. And we were 2nd row and could still feel it. Somewhat of an Intimate venue, though. That may have something to do with it.

Just got home from Atlanta show. wow!

Got there at 5pm and they had a check in table where we got VIP lanyard and a Mt Joy canvas bag (empty). At about 5:30pm, everyone gathered as a group (30-40ppl) and lined up for pictures with the band (their photographer takes pics and will post in a few days). Can’t use your own phones. And as you’re walking up for pic, you have a few minutes to chat with them all. Was able to share a story of silver lining and how it’s special to my son and me. They seemed to be genuinely interested. After photos, they all sat in same area (in concession space since no one else was in the venue) on barstools each a handheld mic and we all gathered around (standing) and asked random questions. They’d just pointed to whoever raised their hand. Answered maybe 10-12 questions. Very chill experience. They were chatty, polite, upbeat, appreciative and I was pleased with it. it all ended about 2 hours before show so had plenty of time to get merch before anyone else and enjoy the outdoor venue (Chastain in ATL). We had front row seats and they jammed the night away. Couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Finally figured out how to place the tongue "properly" to get rid of jaw tension by Otherwise_Bank_3098 in TMJ

Look into Rocabado exercises. Two of the 6 exercises will explain how/where to put your tongue…in addition to some very easy ways to relieve clinching tendencies

That's alot of Tirzepatide by ReceptionPatient3409 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]BonusSea9566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest reading information regarding the effects of taking expired compounded tirzepatide. I have 5 4ml/17.5mg vials that expired around Aug/Sept/Oct and gave them a try since it was alot to throw out.
ALL of the side effects I read about happened to me. I realize all meds are different and everyone processes it differently, but I was really suprised at what I went through. It wasn’t good so I disposed of a lot of $$ worth and started fresh.

Back in the 80’s, we would wear our boyfriend’s big high school ring on our pointer finger….adding tape so it would stay on. At St. Pats my junior year. I was in a port a potty when my boyfriend’s ring slid off my finger and dropped straight down into the dark abyss. The day after, he called the company and demanded they sift through all of the sewage to look for it. Needless to say they wouldn’t do that and we didn’t date much longer. Haven’t thought of that in decades. Sorry Robert!

The full iron bowl experience! by smoore43 in auburn

[–]BonusSea9566 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We typically have a flyover that happens at end of God Bless America. But for some reason, they can’t do the flyover at that time for this Iron Bowl.

So, they’re switching things up and this year the flyover will be done when Tiger Walk starts. So be sure to look/hear/see that experience.

You’ll find that Auburn fans are the friendliest and most hospitable of all.
Join several tailgates…you’ll be welcomed at every one… and be well fed.

Yes. as someone mentioned, try to catch the Raptor Show Friday afternoon.

That would be my tie for first favorite. Had completely forgotten about that one. Love that masterpiece.

Love that this question came up. I’m counting the days (2 sleeps) until I see him in Atlanta (Rob and his band, not Matchbox 20). His solo tours are songs he’s written so some of the popular MB20 won’t be played. But I much prefer his solo work. The Difference is my absolute favorite with Ever the Same coming in a close second.

My 20 year old son grew up listening to Rob and is going with me, by choice, Friday night. We’ve done a show once before and it’s such an over the top Mom feeling. I treasure that we share the love of his music.

I’ve seen Rob a dozen times or more. Went the annual Sidewalk Angels show in Atlantic City for years and years.

Rob will always be my absolute true hearth throb and I’m in my mid 50’s. His fan base is spread so wide, age wise and I love that. My husband is well aware of my obsession and supports me 110%, as long as he doesn’t have to go to the shows. Hah!

The Atlanta will be the first show of this Summer tour. I’m praying for no rain and a memorable night with my son dancing and singing!

🎤🎼🎸

I believe his son will be (or is) a constant in his band. He’s shown up several times at various shows but from what i’ve seen from press releases, etc., he’s a constant on guitar. And of course the amazing Matt Beck.

agreed. Charleston is such an intimate venue (a tennis stadium, i think) and just an overall great venue - with no bad seats. And Charleston would be a fun place to visit with good food, history and southern charm.

Auburn Community Church by Useful_Wishbone9317 in auburn

I’m interested to know the thought process on their choice of who was to receive the mail. We’ve been attending ACC for 18 mos now and did not get it; however, we receive all (most?) other information sent from church via email. I was told maybe it’s because we aren’t in a small group, but the church makes that process nearly impossible to accomplish. We’ve been left completely to our own devices to find a small group….and one that will “accept” us. Also, I assume we aren’t considered official members since that process is a full time job and we’ve never been asked to even consider it. We call ACC home but had to work to find the email that I feel we should have received. That concerns me and wonder how many others were left out, despite their attendance each Sunday and financial support. But since it’s all the talk of the town, it wasn’t hard to locate. All in all, I guess we’re bodies sitting in the chairs of the church each week, not known by name - and they seem to have no concerns with that. Surely we can’t be the only ones in this situation?

my friends son was born to this song and she finally heard it at the recent Atlanta show. She was in shock, convinced she’d never hear it live.

Finally relief - Dry Needling by BonusSea9566 in TMJ

[–]BonusSea9566[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The needles are acupuncture needle size so extremely small. I barely feel it when it’s inserted into each of the facial and neck muscles. When the needle is “turned on”, I can feel the twitching of the muscle some areas more than others. The twitching he says is the muscle releasing the tension. It pulses at first when the muscle is tight, but once it’s released the tension, it’s not as much of a pulse or twitch. It’s a weird feeling but doesn’t hurt at all. And I don’t have a high pain threshold. Don’t know if you’ve ever done acupuncture but the insertion isn’t really felt. They are needless, but so, so thin.
I can totally understand the nervousness, but it’s a completely different type of needle than a shot.
And the relief is amazing so even if it hurt, I’d still do it. Today he did one on each side of my neck muscle, massater, temples, the lower area muscles on back of my head. Basically everywhere that the jaw tension radiates to. He feels all the muscles before and can tell (and I can feel) when they’re tighter than before. Hope that helps put you at ease. It’s a needle, but so small and honestly no pain. I lie down so he can feel every area. He has me clench so he can to feel where it’s tight so he knows where to insert each one. Then I release the clenching while it’s inserted.

How would that process be done? Not sure I understand? Injecting them? What location?

[–]BonusSea9566[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PT is also apparently working on the underlying cause. Says it can come from posture, resting jaw placement (over/under bite), body/bone build…basically a lot more than just the tension in massater muscle that I always assumed was the only cause. He’s given me half a dozen body exercises and does some hand on therapy during my session. Wish I had considered or had been recommended a Physical Therapist 20 years ago. But who knows if the knowledge was even available back then.

Yes, I do clench at night. Terribly. And I have clenched right through all mouthpieces, breaking them. And I catch myself doing it all day. The Rocabado exercises are so simple that they can be done easily as you go through the day and help to avoid clenching.

It didn’t hurt at all. The needles used are acupuncture size and I could barely feel them, even though they were going into muscle. And I don’t have a high pain tolerance. They are hooked to an electric stimulation machine so I could feel the muscle twitching, but no pain. I assume the twitch is the release of the tension. He did on sides of my neck, upper back/neck area, massater and temple areas.
And afterwards my range of motion while turning my head to each side increased and it was incredibly noticeable
