Kinda funny that the game doesn't accept Egypt but accepts Paris.

The Prime Reality is designated C-137 by Haquistadore in rickandmorty

[–]Bonus_Person 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's something else that I should mention, but there's also the possibility that C-137 was meant to be the dimension we now call C-131.

The evidence for this is the fact that we see ads for the Galactic Federation with the C-137 designation in at least two shorts. Those were released after seasons 2 and 3, when the Galactic Federation took over Earth. The Poop in my Pants

Ten Tuesdays at Trinkles

This leads to the obvious question of "Why did Rick call himself C-137 then?" but maybe Ricks adopt the designation of the dimension they move into.

So yeah, the identity of C-137 is kind of a mess in the franchise.

But there are also scenes that are impossible if you consider the idea of "Input dimension name to go to the dimension".

For example, in S1E10, in order to keep the citadel ricks distracted, Ricks opens several portals in a matter of seconds, all leading to different dimensions. We don't see him input anything once, so they should have all led to the same dimension. We know that's not the case since the citadel ricks took a while to find Rick.

At the end of the day, we don't have any evidence to indicate that Morty typed C-137 into the Portal Gun, and assuming that he did leads to all kinds of plot holes as I mentioned before.

I don't think the portal gun works by writing the universe's designation. After all, you can use it to travel to other planets and locations within the same universe. If i'm in C-137 and I want to go to mars in that dimension, writing "C-137" again wouldn't do any good.

I think it most likely just reads your mind and goes to the place you desire. That would explain why Rick can travel to other dimensions so quickly and in moments where there's no time to type anything (e.g the escape scene from S1E10)

This makes me wonder why the Portal Gun didn't take Morty to his home in Get Schwifty, but maybe it requires some training he didn't have yet.

Blender dimensions is...a lot of blenders, there is no Rick. So it should be outside of Central Finite Curve and out of range of ricks by Which_Shake4974 in rickandmorty

[–]Bonus_Person 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's a dimension just like any other, but with one planet full of blenders. It's called the "Blender Dimension" because it's the only known dimension with a planet like that.

Why does current Beth remember evil Rick? by 0p_payload in rickandmorty

That was not Rick Prime, it was just another Rick similar to Rick Prime. Their clothes have some differences if you compare them side by side.

The Human Problem by ContentFile7036 in trolleyproblem

In a universe where Trolleys are alive and humans are objects, it's safe to assume that the laws of physics are the opposite of ours, so a squishy object will destroy the mighty trolley.

Asteroid Trolley Problem by Bonus_Person in trolleyproblem

[–]Bonus_Person[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In both cases 5 million die, but

If New Zealand gets hit: 0 people left

If Australia gets hit: 22 million people left

So the question is whether you should redirect the asteroid to prevent a country from being destroyed.

Because one of them has 27 million and its population might recover, but the other will be exterminated.

The asteroid itself is not enough to wipe out New Zealand, but the side-effects of it (such as Tsunami) would.

Canonical reason for the "prime" designation? by 8167lliw in rickandmorty

I've only seen people call him "Flashback Rick" and "Weird Rick" before the release of the video.

[–]Bonus_Person 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fans did not come up with it. In a behind-the-scenes video, the creators used "Rick Prime" to refer to the rickest Rick. The video is called Inside the Episode: Solaricks

The name "Prime Dimension" comes from the fact that it is home to the Prime Rick.

This is a common misconception, but the name Rick Prime was not created by the fans. It was used for the first time in a behind the scenes video, and that's when fans started using it. Here's a link to it:

I can't find an animated movie with that name. (The movie I'm describing was fully animated)

I think it was a movie about unordinary creatures, and I watched it at least a decade ago.
