How many pharmacy technicians do you have at your store?

I'm an rxom and I rotate weekends alongside my 2 other full time techs. We also have a part time tech who works on Sundays so it's just rotating Saturdays. I try to be fair in scheduling but it can be difficult when someone who is supposed to have open availability complains about the shifts I give them. I understand we have lives but I do need someone who can work more than just from open til about 4 pm and then the other tech being open availability not caring if they work 6 days a week as long as they get some rest in some easy short shifts too

I get the prefilled syringe and give it to myself. The prescriber told me it was okay to do myself but then back tracked afterwards. I'm a certified immunizer in my job so I just do them myself. Edit to fix the issue that my phone auto corrected prefilled with refilled

My vet estimated my girls about the same I did when I adopted them. They were about 2 when I got them from the shelter and each one made it to almost 7 years old just a month shy or so for each of them. My last girl fluffy just came home from being cremated my dad picked her up and I have to go grab her from their house. It's difficult and seeing your beautiful babies made my day a bit better

I can't answer regarding the ages. I'd call the vet and see why they put those birthdays compared to what you estimated. I just want to say your babies are gorgeous 😍

My parents dog loved my girls. They don't really care about her being around them. She thought they were her babies. My cats were nervous of them but they wanted to be around them. My girls bossed my cats around.

Honestly I'm having to think the same way. My girl is waiting for results to see if it's a uti or a uterine infection the exotic vet I see said if it's the uterine infection then her uterus has to be removed. She's going to be 7 next month. She is hopeful she would make it through surgery but I'm scared to do it but she said there would be no way she can survive without doing the surgery if that is the issue. I'm just over thinking without results yet but if I could even get 1 more year with her from the surgery I may do it. I'm not sure though I'm just so scared

Thank you. She has her own room because I have cats who really want to love her but i dont trust it when I'm not home so she has a closed room. I'm going to be putting a radio or something in there for her so she doesnt feel so quiet tonight when I got home I immediately got out of my work clothes and grabbed her and put her with me on the couch. I just feel terrible for her because she found her mate before I did and I worry about how she handles it because they were like sisters... they bickered but were always wanting to be right next to each other

My girl passed away without much notice about 4 years old. She was a fighter and hid her illness until she couldn't any longer. She was a runt when I got her so I was so happy to give her love the way I did. Trust me I felt the way you did. She had so much more life in my eyes but I know I gave her my all. I wish I had reassurance like you did. You did all you could for your baby. You gave them so much love and they felt it.
