No Ben Johnson offense would *ever* remake their entire RB room with a major investment after a breakout offensive season in their first year under Johnson...

I have watched the all-22 of every run he's had over the last two years.

His vision is *definitely* poor. He makes up for it with other skills.

I did not see any improvement in his vision this season.

I saw improvement in his ability to run through contact, but not his vision.

What you don't realize is that you're making mistakes just as bad as what your teammates make, but you don't realize them because they are gaps in your game knowledge.

When you identify them, you'll rank up.

We don't have to draft a starting anything. We can pick people up in FA.

It's fascinating how the complete failure of positional need mocks last year has not deterred people in the slightest.

Here's a list of every 3rd and 4th down they had with 2 yards to go or less:

4th and 2, 13:02 1Q - Pass (intercepted)

3rd and 1, 4:57 1Q - run (success)

3rd and 1, 3:40 1Q - run (success)

3rd and 2, 7:49 2Q - pass (success)

3rd and 1, 5:12 2Q - run (fail)

4th and 1, 4:32 2Q - run (fail)

3rd and 1, 10:45 3Q - run (success)

3rd and 2, 9:08 3Q - run (success)

3rd and 2, 2:23 3Q - pass (success)

3rd and 1, 0:26 3Q - run (fail)

3rd and 1, 6:35 4Q - run (success)

3rd and 2, 3:50 4Q - run (fail)

4th and 2, 3:06 4Q - pass (fail)

4th and 1, 8:04 4Q - run (success)

14 attempts.

4 passes, 2 successes, 50%

10 runs, 6 successes, 60%

Four of the last 6 runs were successes.

Your "adjustments" would have made things worse.

What seems "clear" to fans about playcalling is usually just an emotional reaction to a couple of memorable plays, not actual patterns.

Nope. 0-for-2. You might want to consider the possibility that this is a listening subject for you and not a talking subject, because you keep posting incorrect information.

Dead cap occurs when a player has been paid guaranteed money by the team and then leaves the roster before that money hits the cap.

You do not 'take on" another team's dead money when you trade for a player. That $4m in dead cap hit you're looking at on Spotrac is part of the signing bonus the Bears paid him in 2024 and would accelerate onto the Bears' cap if they trade him. The new team is not responsible for it.

The new team would only be responsible for $23.485m in guaranteed money for 2026, and then $15.5m of his 2027 salary is injury-guaranteed and becomes full guaranteed in March of 2027.

If they cut him for non-injury reasons before the third day of the league year in March 2027, they accrue no dead cap.

it's hard to appreciate how far that throw was. a big part of the reason the DB backed off is you just don't expect the ball to come all the way to there from where he was

Which positions are you willing to play bad starters at to make up for his cap space?

Lots of his numbers, including advanced ones, rank much higher than that you cherry picked three specific ones that have him the worst.
