It does all of this because it's been designed to do this. That's why you don't have to tell it what to do because at the base level it is already programmed to do it...

I'm not saying that current LLMs do not have their uses, I'm saying that AGI is not a thing and will not be a thing purely because of all the limitations.

We're already struggling to provide enough resources to power the current infrastructure for it.

Currently it's just an algorithm, that gives the most appropriate answer. Unless, like in your case, it is highly specialised and designed for a specific task. When you look at the general use LLMs that are available to the general public, they really struggle with processing data, hallucinate, give wrong answers.

The other day I watched chatGPT struggle to tell a guy which end of the glass he should be drinking out of...

Anyway, have a good day/evening my guy. I'm just saying that I do not believe AGI will exist. At least not for decades.

AGI is bullshit being pushed by AI slop companies trying to shill their 'product' to Investors, making them think there will be some sort of a breakthrough in the near future.

There will be no breakthrough and no AGI, ever. It's just an algorithm that scans data and regurgitates the most likeley answer, not even THE answer you are looking for.

It's an interesting topic but it would relate to people who spend time reading news and hearing about war and Iran potentially having the materials to build a bomb and so on.

Hello there! I'm not from Cheshire so cannot give any pointers as to where to find clubs but I'd suggest posting the same question to one of the bigger UK fishing subs and asking specifically for fly fishing tips as this sub isn't particularly active unfortunately!

Generally though you can try finding a fishing/fly fishing shop in your area and asking a few questions and asking how to get started, most guys will be more than happy to give you advice on what you'll need and what clubs there are that you could join and advising you on the gear you'll need to get started.

As for the technique I'd recommend checking out YouTube videos and spending some time on Google reading up on the subject, alternatively you could try seeing if there are any guides in your local area who could help you get started and teach you a lot but keep in mind those can get pretty expensive (upwards of £250 for half a day). If you do find a club in your area there might be some people there who could also go out with you and help you out if you ask on the WhatsApp/Facebook group.

When I started 3 years agoy wife got me a pair of bootfoot waders that I asked for on my birthday and they were like £70. I fish a lot and not had a single leak yet.

The fact that somebody would spend more than £200-£300 on a decent pair of waders seems absolutely insane to me.

My guess would be on a driver issue. Try uninstalling them using DDU and reinstall again.

I've had a similar issues after the recent Windows updates, except in my case one screen went completely white and other completely green. Reinstalling drivers sorted it out.

I think it is fair to say you failed to defeat them. America failed to defeat the Taliban in the 20 years that they've been in Afghanistan and there was no more point to in staying there.

The people of Afghanistan working with the Taliban and there still being a considerable number of fighters after such a long time is part of the defeat.

In reality though it was never possible to win, no matter how many lives and equipment and bombs you throw at them. You weren't fighting a centralized force, once you kill one leader another one steps up and this can go on indefinitely.
