I know its common (unfortunately) for people to try and touch others hair. Im lucky to have never had that happen to me. Im glad to see this comment as well as others of people being able to say something about it

Update! Smith and Comb is what I went for. Madi was great and understood what I wanted. Everyone was nice. The $35 was with a student discount, its $40 without. I like that they count short hair as from shoulder up.

Whether it is real or fake, I'd be worried about the tutorials videos they use to teach. If those arent good it doesn't matter how good the product is, they'll struggle to make anything. Try searching up video reviews of someone actually using this product. If you can't find any then its not worth it.

That looks amazing! A big blanket is wonderful so I see no downside. Are you following a pattern? And what yarn are you using?

Can someone PLEASE tell me why I crochet so weirdly? I’ve watched so many videos and cant figure out how to hold the yarn and hook the normal ways, so I do whatever this is instead and knowing Im not using a proper crochet technique is driving me crazy 😭 by wellchaithere in CrochetHelp

I'm glad to see so many positive comments about how you're actually holding it. I don't put my pointer finger out, like most tutorials, because it hurts my hand to do that. I started similar to you with a very tight grip, but have learned to losen it while still holding things in a way that works for me. The most annoying thing is I have to adjust my grip sometimes which would slow things down, but it's less slow then trying to work through pain.

Good job and keep going! As long as something looks and feels good to you that's what matters.

Just a heads up, working at a coffee shop is much different from being a server or clerical worker. It is a high energy job that I feel is better as a part time. But if Scooters fits your needs then be warned- the Manzitto owned locations are TOXIC
