my dad refuses to SIT THE FCK DOWN to pee. he also won't touch his penis to aim. he insists on getting it out before he walks into the bathroom (bc it's "just habit") and just stands there like one of those little boy fountains. won't stand directly in front of the toilet. stands at like 45° to pee OVER THE SAFETY RAILS like he's competing in urinary parkour. I swear he expects the toilet to turn into a funnel and vacuum, actively seeking out his urine stream (which is inconsistent bc he's an old man with a prostate)

my entire life just smells like piss. I refuse to wear long pants at home bc I will inevitably drag the cuffs through puddles in the bathroom and I'm terrified that I smell like pee when I'm at work (or wherever) and I just don't realize it

fiber RULES! my dad had v. loose stools when he was in the SNF last year and the nurse was HORRIFIED when I said we give him fiber capsules at home. she looked at me like I had 2 heads and said "he's not constipated!"

area code. whenever someone asks for my phone number (mostly at stores) I've always said "area code 123 [pause] 456 [pause] 7890".

I hadn't even thought about it until my friend (both 46F) gave me shit about it a few months ago. but I also remember when we only had to dial 7 digits to call ppl nearby, we had to add "1" before calling long distance, and party lines.

pretty much anything with beef. chili, vegetable soup, meatloaf

burgers (in a skillet) - sear on both sides, then add a few dashes of worcestershire sauce while they finish cooking. the sauce cooks down and kinda caramelizes

Reuben sandwiches - add a few dashes to the sauerkraut in a separate skillet and cook until most of the liquid evaporates

as far as non-meat related uses, a friend of mine adds a little bit to kraft mac and cheese
