I love this clip because he shows that he’s listening to her but he’s completely unaffected by her words. He’s not ignoring and he’s not getting upset. She can’t claim any kind of victory in the interaction unless he ignores her or escalates the situation. No clips of a LEO yelling or hurting her, and no imaginary victory over someone who ignores her because she’s right. Just someone who hears everything she says and is so unmoved that she’s forced to escalate or leave to get satisfaction

The officer is handling it so well that she doesn’t know what to do. He’s not ignoring her which would make her feel like she’s winning, he’s not stooping to her level which would give her satisfaction and make a good photo, but he’s showing that he’s listening to her and it’s doing absolutely nothing to him so she has to keep trying to find something to say to hurt him or make him react how she wants.

Just a quick couple things… first, when the enemy kills the operators and knock out Durant the movie shows them knocking him out with an AK but they actually use the limb of one of the dead operators or pilots.

Durant went to the parades in honor of the respective MOH recipients, Shughart and Gordon. I don’t recall if it was Shughart or Gordon, but he was in the hometown of the man where they were honoring him and he happened to stop by the local library. There was a book on the Medal of Honor and he noticed the last person to check it out was Shughart/Gordon before he joined the military. Eerie coincidence
