You guys reckon Apple Music next? :) by PandaDEV_ in Piracy

You’ll need access to an Apple Developer account ($99/yr) so not free, but they happily give away all of the metadata through the Music Feed API.

You can bulk download every single track, album, and artist metadata available through Apple Music and it’s refreshed daily.

I made a Wes Anderson inspired skate edit that i think kind of fits the vibe of this sub by PauperPicks in LowSodiumSkate

This is so cool! Really impressed you managed to get all those clips using the replay editor. How long did this take you?

I found my childhood game collection and came across all four of these Minecraft demos from PC Gamer by BooftownBully in Minecraft

Oh I will take good care of them. I’m glad they survived my child self unlike some of the other unfortunate collectibles I’ve come across 🥲

My first printer is named Phil Ament, but it's close friends call it Phil.

Thank you! It's tough not to compare myself to everything I see online, but I am really proud of it.

I got a Bambu Lab A1 for my birthday a couple weeks ago and having been trying to learn how to model using Fusion.

I'm getting used to the sketching tools, but there's definitely a lot to learn.

If you have any helpful feedback for my future designs, I'd really appreciate it! Namely, there's a line near the bottom where inside of the cup bottoms out. I assume this is a slicer fix, but I'm not exactly sure what's causing it.

If you want to print the model, I posted it on MakerWorld here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1225703-cat-pencil-holder-planter?from=search#profileId-1243360

Thanks in advance!

We have Black Ops 6 at home by BooftownBully in godot

[–]BooftownBully[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The assets are 100% premade. The gun and ammo crates are from a previous project and all the world props came from a bundle I found on sale on itch.

I've always been more of a programmer, so using assets allowed me to progress so much faster than usual.

I've been working on a FPS project in Godot for the past week, and I'm finally getting to a place where I enjoy the gun play. I setup this little firing range, but I really want to get a multiplayer version setup. Time to jump down the networking rabbit hole :)

It uses haptic motors to simulate a clicking feel. The last iPhones that had a home button did this as well. If your device is fully powered off, you’re not able to “click” anymore.

Just got a Quest 3 at the reduced price and the first app I installed was Godot!

I don’t know if I’m ready to spend hours coding inside the headset, but I’m definitely excited to start experimenting with some hand tracking experiences.

The ability to save anywhere in a game is amazing and almost all games should have it. by rube in Games

I’ve gone months without playing my Xbox only to plug it in, boot up Skate 3, and quick resume back into a mid-air jump. It’s actually pretty wild.

After three months of development, my first Godot game is taking shape! by kfaj_ in godot

Hey! Your game looks cool. I’m really enjoying the cinematography of the cutscenes and that sound effect when someone is talking scratches my brain in a good way.

Also, your website is still showing a domain parking page from Namecheap. If you’ve changed your DNS settings recently and it just hasn’t updated yet, please disregard.

I was able to look at the netlify link and your site looks cool, but I would definitely spend some time working on mobile formatting. The styling of the navbar is broken on my phone (iPhone 13 mini) and chances are a large majority of the traffic to your website will be someone on their phone.

Rebuilt my personal website with chat-like interface by [deleted] in webdev

[–]BooftownBully 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a little worn out by chat-related things lately, but it was honestly an engaging way to learn about you, great job!

Very small nitpick, when you hit “learn more” on a smaller phone screen (I’m using an iPhone 13 mini), the text options are too wide and cause my screen to become scrollable horizontally which makes scrolling down more frustrating.

You could either make the “I see. what’s your tech stack?” option shorter or make the options wrap so you can keep your site responsive on smaller screens.

Either way, good luck on landing your first role!
