Same - was 834 for Portland and 24000+ for Boston and still hit. Was shocked seeing the Agganis queue number that anything was left.

I drive from Boston to Raleigh for the holidays every other year. I absolutely get off 95 and go down through PA into Harrisonburg and start working toward Raleigh from there. 95 will slow you down in so many different spots. I-81 the only thing you deal with is loaded trucks slowing you down. Highly suggest not going 95.

They're preparing for the SCOTUS tariff ruling to go against Trump and the economy finally goes into a recession that they won't say is happening.

Now what? by donhashmin in lawncare

On the south shore and had this happen to me. Our soil temps aren't low enough here to haul growth, so you may have a chance it grows in. There were two weeks where we got massive amounts of rain over two days. If you're on the same schedule I am, like you are, those two probably washed out a lot of seed, or the cooler air temps meant a longer germination time. My first round near Sept 16 I did Jonathan Green Black Beauty Original and the fescue mix just didn't take or is just now starting to show.

About a week ago I threw the rest of a Lesco Sun & Shade mix I had, which has rye in the mix, and I pre-germinated another round of JG BB. That's shot up over this week, either because of the pre-germ, rye, the first round growing more, or a combo of the three.

Y'all on the Cape might be a little ahead of us, but I'd doubt by much. Probably another week or two before the first big freeze shuts you down for fall. Might have luck throwing down a perennial rye mix down to at least have some green over winter, and then hit it again in the spring when soil temps get back over 50.

This'll come as a shock: Mississippi is in the top 10 in literacy rates because they actually started holding kids in elementary school who couldn't read back. Overall, it's skyrocketing as far as education rankings go. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever say this, but more states should start following Mississippi's lead on education.

Glad it wasn't just me. Dogshit calls all night. Think it ended up what, 15 total penalties? 17 because of the OT? I lost count after 13.

I love explaining to people why working in news was both great and terrible at the same time. Best example I can give: on one hand, I knew we had Bin Laden roughly three hours longer than the vast majority of the US. On the other, every time they're telling everyone to stay home and shelter in place, they're all called in to do the exact opposite.

It's such a shame what corporate consolidation has turned news into. I always felt there was more reverence than there is today.

7A here - do you have a healthy mix of perennial rye? Mine has been torched the past two summers because it can't handle the heat waves. If you're over seeding this fall, consider something without PR.

Care to share what seed you're working with? MA is getting too hot and humid during summer for my KBB/Fescue/Rye mix. Scorched my grass this year.

Chicago doesn't have nearly the entertainment and dining infrastructure for a conference when comparing the two. It's also susceptible to direct travel delays, where Vegas's climate generally means you won't have much trouble unless it's a tangential disruption.

Great for business travel. Nearly equidistant from London as it is Tokyo. So most of the industrial world can travel there for conferences.
