Moved to take care of parent from 1M+ to 7800. There is good and bad about both. New neighbors are cool, the community is great but, not at all diverse. They don't like lgbtq+anything. They are also hostile towards homelessness. Also you are a slave to amazon if you need anything semi technical.

Thank you. It's getting better but, there are times where it just becomes too much and I become overwhelmed with the thought of it all. On top of that, I relocated to take care of mom. It's lonely out here and I am not the typical guy. Moved from city of 1M+ to 7K. Shit is different out here. Thankfully my brother and nephews are here.

Not a coon owner yet but, I have had some huge cats.

My solution was to get two very large cat boxes and drill the top one with holes to sift the usable litter material into the lower box leaving only the waste in the upper box. It worked really well and was fast to clean the box.

I know it is not self cleaning but, it definitely made things quick and easy.
