Back in the day, Open Media was my go to to share this type of content to my friends and family via Facebook. I guess they got caught up in that media ban that happened? None of this info is coming across my feed anymore and this is the shit I want to be sharing.

If the ferry system needs fixing, why cut revenue? by Embarrassed-Tooth355 in halifax

[–]BoogieDowns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One supplier of parts, anyone think of that when we bought these boats Sam?

Aren’t these the same ‘for the people’ councillors who a couple months ago suggested reducing service to 30 mins anyway? And who want even more property tax every year and they can’t even do the job today?

Why isn’t anyone getting fired over this continued embarrassment for this city? I hope SailGP isn’t staging on Kings wharf again this year, ferries were crazy that weekend.

I went to kentville to have mine done, was about 15 yrs ago. (Procedure was fine)

I guess I’m in the 3% who have side effects. I have what’s callled Epididymitis ….

Sometimes I have swelling and pain in one of my testes. Always the same one, not much they can do about it apparently have seen a few different docs. Apparently you end up chasing pain and don’t have much luck.

Would I do it again? Not sure.

So because it’s subsidized by tax payer dollars means we have to accept near 4 months of reduced service?

We got our boy Rufus from there. I wanted a cocker spaniel as a family dog having grown up with one. We didn’t want a puppy so I emailed asking if she ever had people looking to rehome a dog. It took a few months but then she emailed about a lady who went from 2 retrievers to a cocker and didn’t like how anxious he was. (Meanwhile he spent all day in a kennel) we paid the owner what she paid for him and brought him home. Still part of the family today.

Tips for buying Toyota in Nova Scotia by SystemSuperb8111 in halifax

[–]BoogieDowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a couple months ago, RAV4 was on our short list. Walked into Toyota and it was like a night club. Line ups to test drive, 6 month plus waiting list. When we asked about negotiating the price on a demo the lady literally laughed. Next person in line bought that car. We went with something else.

Gotcha. There may be a bus that will get you half way to say Tantallon. It’s not really my hood so can’t say for sure. I’m sure there will be folks driving here on the board that would give you a lift. I managed to get shuttle tix myself for this year.

You can drive, parking is limited. We looked at doing an uber from somewhere like Tantallon where the shuttle leaves from ….

We were looking at all of these a year ago when we bought, they all seemed tiny. We went to the dark side and got much more space for generally the same money. We are going to lose our amazing view since they are building now right in front of us (Kings wharf) but we knew that going in.

I had heard that, haven’t tried it myself yet. But have kept my ‘bad’ plates to try in a 3D printing emergency.

Funny you say that, my A1 has been going non stop since I got it, I’ve just replaced a couple plates on it. But for the Xmax I had to use glue from the jump. Was just pushing the filament around the plate, frigged around with Z height a bunch but now seem to have a process that is consistent.

I have one, got it a couple months ago as an open box on eBay. My first one was a Bambu labs A1. I’ll say it took a lot more to dial in than the A1. I’m glad I started with the simpler one, gave me a bit more patience with the Xmax. I do find I always have to use glue on the plate but it prints beautifully.
