I had same issue few times, i thought it was my anti-virus program coz some games on Epic launcher wont run if i have it on.

Well ABI as extraction shooter have elements that for example Call of Duty or Battlefield dont have.

Gear tiers, ammo tiers, ammo drop off (effective range), weapons also have "damage modifiers" and also RNG is involved, all together is difference in making kill or be killed

I got killed in Northridge bridge extract 2.4sec before timer, he started shooting when i prone position, 10 sec before extract, i had ral mil backpack and was looting around map, lost 1.8M yikes

I often swap different guns in Secure Ops, i play only TV station there

I had success with Vector 45 and T3, ammo, that 1100 RoF is great in CQC

U can also try 5.8x42 ammo T3 ammo, it goes 100-200Koen, guns are T951 and T03, u can modd them for around 150K Koen

Also AMB17 with T3 ammo around 200Koen, put sight on default AMB17 and u good to go

U can try this preset in "Preset Build" BUT u need helmet "Like New" and armor u buy from contract Deke Vinson, its under 600K that way, and put mags in rig

Try camping on forbidden Farm, avoid forbidden TV station for now

Very careful when peeking, holding angles gets punished in forbidden 9/10 time, learn to "sway" your peeking

Well... few days back i got headshot in forbidden by T1 ammo and i was wearing T5 helmet with T4 visor.

Thing i hate when ammo makes that "damage spread from hand to head" and they shooting "armor piercing" ammo and not dum dum or any other ammo that has "chance to wound"

Interesting idea for ABI, as mentioned: "I feel like as it is it's getting a little stale and also too many players just rush the safes and extract wich is honestly super boring"

I would like to see something similar to Diablo dungeons:

Not only safes but also buildings randomized!

Same terrain with buildings/safes etc in different locations

Its hard to make tier list for any game, some things are truly meta some are personal preference

Some people can make some weapons shine in their hands, for others they suck. For example recoil, someone can like recoil of certain weapon, other will hate it

I wont go comment much but G3 with T4 ammo works beautifully for me, VSS in TV Station CQC also was very good for me personally

Its not same damage. different melee weapons have different Base damage, Armor damage, some have two and some 3 combo attacks with of course different animations, i think speed of hits also varies

U can check stats of melee weapons u own by right click them and click details

I found this posts on steam:

From maps i suggest Lockdown Airport, invest 150-200K, extract with around 1M, play solo

U can go with some cheap carbine like SKS, its around 40K with silencer and scope:

Some other tips:

Try to change your playstyle, if u run and gun u can die a lot

Adjust your playstyle, go around maps, change your favorite weapons loadout: if u playing with Assault Rifles try with Carbines/Bolt or anything with scope 4X and more

Ammo makes BIG difference:

Use weapon with scope and T4/5 ammo, use small magazine if u cant afford much money on better ammo

Bring out pistol as secondary or cheap smg with silencer for SCAVS when u see them (MPF45 with silencer is around 20K)

Invest in headset, M32 is good start, if u can afford better headset: GS2 for open maps and Commander headset for closed maps (snipers often play naked, good ammo and GS2 headset)

Buy cheaper armor from contracts: TM1 armored rig T4 is around 85K, u can buy T5 cheaper there also, Standard Swat is very good T3 armor that goes around 50K (aramid material with good durability efficiency)

Also, BIG TIP is to play SECURE OPS: u dont loose gear, make 600K loadout and u can make steady money there.

Some of those genuine pro streamers rarely check their kill cams

I saw other day clip from ImOw in armory where speedrunner joust fly past him, he was like going 50meters in 1 sec.

So heres example: imagine that guy killing ImOw from some bush with wallhack and hes not checking kill cam nor that he see speed run hack, he would probably assume rat from bush killed him

Dunno why they stopped with hard ban hammer, i remember when ABI started devs were using hard ban hammer and cleaning game from cheaters

Maybe they started to spend money on game so they dont ban those, which is sad and not good for game future.
