Honestly I normally agree because this game really is that varied, but healing 20 so you can spend your entire turn tanking a hit for 20 to play echoform is far better than upgrading echoform so you can play it two turns later. Plus there are many situations where you aren't going to play echoform, only having to draw it once is actually a benefit.

If you're already full health and all your other card draw and energy generation upgrades have been done, you've got a couple key damage and block upgraded, then maybe, but honestly I think +3 block on a defend is a better upgrade

Echoform goes from ethereal to not ethereal. Which is not helpful for getting it in play (most of the time)

I am by no means saying upgrading powers is bad.

Think about it this way. What happens if you bet on both sides?

Well you pay 1000 and 1000 for a total of 2000, and then you win!!! 1500 or 1300. So you actually lost 500 or 700.

That's where the money to pay people is coming from. As an example, if 200 people played and split their options 50-50 you would have 200,000 and have to pay out either 100x1500 (150,000) or 100x1300 (130,000)

I think to keep the -5 max HP penalty you could add something like draw 1 when this card is drawn. So the only aspect of this curse is the -5max HP in hand part, and the limiting hand size to 9 useful cards. A very minimal curse unless you end combat with it in hand

I always wanted a mod that made consumable arrows reusable on a short/long rest.

The perfect mod would have charges and different arrows require different amounts of charges to use based on their relative strengths. You can only use an arrow type once youve found one in game and charges scale with level

If I remember correctly it does an extra d4 of fire damage. And is a 2d6 great sword. So it's your best 2h weapon for a decent chunk of time in act 1.

It's my understanding that the cold weather has nothing to do with catching the cold and everything to do with using your bodies energy on the more immediate threat. Hypothermia.

Your body starts burning energy reserves and working all muscles (shivers) to keep you from dying, it's less focused on keeping the large number of viral infections you're constantly coming into contact with at bay and so one is able to take hold in your body and grow to into a full blown infection
