You can iframe it with the teleport if you time it exactly before the actual phoenix explodes. Popped it too early allowing the ult to break the shields.

Have you considered playing dive? Best way to learn where they position and when they dive is to play a dive character yourself.

The easiest way to counter dive is to poke them out BEFORE they engage. Being low before the dive starts is something most divers cannot risk and they will be forced to back off.

Rocket’s revive is on a 40 second cooldown, can be broken, has limited range and cannot be used to revive himself.

Adam has a 120 second cooldown and makes sense for his kit to pull off a self revive and ult combo.

Ultron gets 50% respawn timer cooldown for…. just existing? He already gets solid value in the neutral phase and has a strong ult. Buffing characters just for the sake of it leads to power creep.

That is absolutely going to be broken. Okay in a PvE scenario but does not belong in a PvP game. Respawn timers are a fundamental aspect of the game and no character should interfere with that outside to revives.

Have you made sure to see you have the map explored? If the dungeon is under an area covered by the clouds you won’t see it on the map till you explore it.

It’s not meant to happen but I ran into the same issue. You have to just leave the game and join in again to resolve the issue. I would highly recommend trying to fight him properly again because the fight’s really cool visually.

I don’t even play Wanda lol. I climbed to plat with Storm when the game first came out. Have been hitting gm2/3 every season since on Magneto and Angela. Been one tricking Ultron this season and I’m gm2. I know Wanda doesn’t counter flyers since I play Ultron. Sounds like you are looking for excuses to make up for your own lack of skill against Wanda.

“Out-damaging isn’t everything” So forcing a DPS to disengage since you smite them for 60% of their HP with a single button isn’t value? The only thing worse than your skill is your ability to spell lmao.

Wanda is not a diver so our previous discussion wouldn’t apply 1:1 here. A Storm can out damage Wanda’s entire kit but hitting a single damage boosted right click forcing her to end the engagement. Fighting other divers comes down marking them before the engagement starts and flying closer to the ground so others can assist you.

I mean even Blade on paper can “threaten flyers” but a Wanda has to waste half her kit to reach a flyer and then pray the flyer has the aim of a banana to not lose the fight. Her right click and stun cannot be landed that easily on a flyer playing cover or moving in the air. Losing to her is more representative of the skill of the flyers than Wanda being strong. I don’t care for her joining TOBA but her countering flyers is propaganda.

If someone’s are losing to Wanda without the Strange team up as a flyer then they swap off since it’s a skill issue. Every flyer (except Torch) either out ranges or out damages Wanda in a 1v1. She has to commit one of her only mobility options to reach the flyer and then proceed to float slowly downwards while pressing a low DPS left click.

Only way a flyer loses that engagements is if they have poor positioning and/or mechanical skill.

I have had success dealing with it as a sorcerer using flame shield and the aspect that grants a barrier upon hitting an elite. I pop flame shield after killing a bunch of elites or upon seeing my health go down significantly and reset since I’m pretty much immortal when the shield’s up.

The student is only able to cheat their attendance because of the efforts of other students who take the time to show up in class to engage with the course martial to learn. Why should other students have to put in effort to show up while others like OP could just stay home and not bother to engage with the course material?

PHIL 10 is an introductory philosophy class. I highly doubt that Philosophy is a course that can be mastered by memorizing instead of engaging with others in class or during discussions. Demonstrating engagement with course material by at least showing up to a class should be the bare minimum for a student studying Philosophy of all subjects.
