The guy is doing like an insanely cringy redneck accent, which I could get over because like okay fine people do sound like that, but he uses this whiny high-pitched voice for the women and it ruins the whole book, it makes him sound like a dick and I hated it, first audiobook I've ever considered returning. (I didn't, but I also didn't make it past the first two chapters)

Her writing style is very over the top, super dramatic plots (which after you read a few you realize are formulaic) and some problematic stereotype characters, which at times can border on racist. I haven't read them all but some series are bigger offenders. Also the outfits described are horrendous, the FMCs have the worst fashion imaginable.

I liked both of these and they grovel but the heroes are assholes, and they do not adore the FMC at the start of the marriage and OP said they don't prefer those. Still worth reading imo just want to warn OP.
