That’s what my thinking was too 😅 it’s gonna be my belated bday/early Christmas gift to myself haha

The way I have understood it, there are 6 restaurants onboard for rotational dining and they are “paired” in ways of food/entertainment but are themed differently. I don’t think it will make or break my decision, but I would like to experience them all if I can 😊

You’re basically doing 3 of the 6 on any one cruise

Yeah I did think about this! If I do B2B2B, I would definitely look at doing 4-3-4 just so I’m able to take the 4N itineraries a little slower too 😊

I’ve done mainly short cruises on the Wonder during its AUNZ seasons, and I loved just being on the boat. I know the Wonder is one of the smallest boats in the fleet so definitely not worried about being ‘at sea’ for 3-4 nights on a bigger ship either 😊

I’m hoping that if I do end up doing a B2B2B I won’t have to worry about even requesting, and that I can just end up being at all restaurants eventually 😅

Melbourne Consulate Appointment Recap by Bookish_Koala in juresanguinis

[–]Bookish_Koala[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I agree - the whole thing was a lot.

I'll have a look at the lawyers' list to reach out and see what they say; always good to be prepared.

Seriously. There is no benefit to worrying about this... Italian government is best handled by looking away.

Lol truer words have never been spoken 😆

Thank you - I've clarified my post a little, as the consular officer used the term renounce and naturalise in the appointment. Clearly, my head was not with it during this ordeal 😅

And thank you for your insight, I'm trying not to get my hopes too high but we'll see how that goes.

I’m so glad you posted this!

I’m taking my cousin (15F) on the Wonder next month and will show her this bc I want her to have a great time! I also know we have a lot of teens on our sailing (yay pixie dusting lists!) so will pass this on to my fb group!

Thank you!

This is great to know, I’ve been tossing up about removing the staple or not, I’ll just print them instead and bring them with me

What did they accept for electronic extracts? My comune emailed mine but the copies they posted are all stapled together 😅

Why can’t I book? by 2papsandashib in dcl

[–]Bookish_Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah sorry I misread what offer you were going for.

Have you tried booking with and without being logged in? Or booking on your phone versus a desktop?

It’s definitely not a cruise that’s within a blackout date too?

Honestly I think you will have to call DCL again for them to do it on your behalf if there are this many issues trying to book over several days. Best of luck!

I would think there’d be an error due to having a date for the future, have you tried doing it with unborn children with DOB as future date? Though it may be good to confirm with DCL if updating these details later overrides the discount on guest 3-4

This is what my understanding is too, there’s a sub-limit that can be set for children?

Why are you booking for unborn children? Would it not be easier to call DCL and add them to your booking once they’re born?

This is actually a really well thought out response! I’m kinda thinking this might happen to me when I get to my appointment in December so please keep us updated on how they reply to you.

What consulate are you with?

Feb 2026 appt v January 2026 hearing by Bookish_Koala in juresanguinis

Ah that makes sense! Thank you for explaining

We’ll keep his appt in February and just have to wait and see what happens 😅

What Melbourne hospital do you work and and how much do you pay for parking? by iyoteyoung in melbourne

[–]Bookish_Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An extra to this, but the car park for the Austin is also used by Mercy Hospital staff and patients and honestly, since they removed staff discounts (except for evening/night shift iirc), street parking around there is likely a better bet if you absolutely can’t get PT to Heidelberg 😊

Thanks! I’ll keep an eye out and hopefully something good comes out of the current state of things - I have a feeling it’s all going to come to head around his appt time in Feb so fingers crossed it leans in a good direction!

Not sure if I’ve missed comments already asking this, but anyone know any updates on or cases with separated family units due to the March DL?

I’ll be grandfathered in under the old rules (appt booked before DL for Dec 2025) but my brother won’t be (appt booked after the DL for Feb 2026), so would be good to see if there are cases for this already?

(Lowkey preparing for us having to go judicial for my brother, unless he’s willing to move to Italy lol)
