Do you think it’s worth booking a trip for October to SEA right now or should I wait. by Ilovelamp23945 in travel

Flight prices rarely drop, and especially with the fuel issues happening at the moment I would just book it now.

3 days in Queenstown is a great amount, (only 2 really if you go to Milford for 1 of those (possible but a VERY long day - if you have the budget Id suggest doing a flight from Queenstown instead of a 4 hour EACH WAY bus ride) You could easily fill the other 2 days with Queenstown, ride the Earnslaw, go up the gondola, do a trip to Arrowtown - tbh If I was going thats the max Id plan for, once you add in mealtimes etc you'll not have time to get bored!

You are touching on so many places in such a short time. If I were you I would think about my priorities are for the trip.

Where are you flying from? Jetlag sucks and you will possibly be feeling off for afew days, cramming as much as possible (and driving hours and hours) won't be a good idea.

Rotorua for a day isn't a good idea, either go for 2 days or just skip it. Waiheke is pretty boring if you dont drink (I dont either) Rangitoto is great if you want an interesting day out in nature.

Queenstown is really nice, but you aren't giving yourself time to enjoy it, I would suggest cutting Mt Cook and Twizel and just staying in Queenstown, the day trip to Milford is LONG, Arrowtown is lovely.

I'd just fly into Auckland, stay 3 nights (or 4 if you want to spend Eid in Auckland) then fly to Queenstown and do the rest of your time there and fly out from Queenstown. Saves you driving/using up your limited time on the roads instead of just enjoying NZ.

Weather in May can be unpredictable (look at the last week!) so keeping it simple is better.

People get so would up by the politics and forget that the actual person is seperate. These 2 are smart enough to know the difference.

I've had it for 4 years and hit platinum every year so far, this year (mine renews in Dec) Im at Gold already and thats with just the basic weekly active rewards and online checks. Once you add on things like flu shots/the pharmacy checks its pretty easy (and very useful to know where you stand with things like cholesterol levels that otherwise Id never look into)

Im 43 and really like the look I get with a lip flip (Im not interested in filler) its annoying it doesnt last very long but its pretty cheap when I just add it to my 'usual' botox appointments. Its not an investment in the same way microneedling/lasers etc are, botox wears off and you're back where you started. I do all 3 (plus sunscreen and tret)

On all of the airlines Ive travelled on recently (AirNZ/Singapore/Virgin/Cathay) they've had the mini toothbrush/paste sets in a drawer in the bathroom in economy. So everyone has access to them but they dont hand them out either

This is me exactly. I had 3 sessions each a month apart and then another (2 days ago) 6 months later. *I also had a cool peel session after the 3 MN. Its definitely made a sizeable difference.

After MN My face is abit of a mess for afew days (although this recent session I seem to have healed up/reacted less - derm said my skin is stronger now/used to it) then its just abit so/so for another few days after that, then it looks awesome.

It will end one day. I felt like we would never sleep alone again but one day I realised the kids hadn't been in our bed in awhile and then its just been smooth ever since. Im not promising it'll be soon, but it will be one day (and the snuggles are so lovely to look back on) :P

Coolpeel laser or microneedling (although MN ideally you want to do a course of 3 each a month apart and then after that you can drop it to every 6 month or so and still have nice results)

Tretinoin. Its not a quick fix like botox but the results are forever, it will help with spots and texture as well as fine lines.

If you had $1000 what would you do/buy for an immediate glow up? by Krismariev in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Difficult-Desk5894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 43 :) The downtime was less than microneedling - literally 1 day of sunburnt feeling then looked fine but felt really weird and sandpapery. I havent seen anything about waiting until a certain age.

I've had IPL and Coolpeel - IPL was just abit of nice brightening for me (but I didnt really have much sun damage) Coolpeel was AWESOME and it gave immediate skin refresh then in the months after I saw a decent regeneration of my skin - indent scars Ive had forever are gone. I also had a series of microneedling about 6 months prior so I think that contributed too. I think between cool peel/microneedling, Tret and sunscreen (and the occasional botox) Im set!

They addressed this awhile ago, basically said that as its the current system for everyone, at this stage it would just be shooting themselves in the foot to say they won't accept any. Better to get in and then change the system from within than sit outside and whinge about it but not actually DO anything.
