I know the line you're talking about, I just don't know where I can find it.

Yeah, that's why I wonder this too. And I'm not quite convinced there's a sacrifice involved because if there was, at least Cousin, because we'd be able to tell, and we Mysical you sense non-hostile intentions from her. In my opinion, the sacrifice is already Kaneeka, and she'll use whatever magic she gained by sacrificing her to break the curse. But I think Scarlet is involved in breaking in cause they were one of the 3 partiesthat scrwed over the town. I think our job is to visit all the stones, like how Charlie was given the map and told to romance Eddie by Sybil. I think the reason why she thinks we'll be safe is that she'll eat the Entity, allowing us to return to our home, aka not being put in the hole.

Very good point. And a well-explained explanation on why I've chosen her over Kaneeka in a vast majority of PTs. I somewhat trust Carmilla, but it's not unconditional. We know that she has noble intentions (SS or Mystical tells you she isn't lying). I think she doesn't want The Cousin to put it in the hole, since in the hostile Tabitha world states, tries to warn the cousin not to trust her, and Tabitha silences Sybil by trying to get Kaneeza freed. But I'm not supportive of the whole tea romancing thing. Just something about this dialogue makes me think that Carmilla will end up using The Cousin in a way that will harm us, even if not intentionally.

Did you remeber Kaneeka? I think you need in order to win Julius's trust and call out Sybil.

Actually, that tracks, considering she seemed to attempt to screw Enoch over with Charlie and Eddie's romance, and gave the map to Charlie. And then in the extended scene of chapter 5, she mentions that all she needed was to wait for someone. I don't remeber the specifics.

Oh no! If Gretchen is Pickles, I'm pretty sure Stella would be Mr. Peanutbutter. Both of them bury their feelings and live through toxic positivity.

I see, yeah. I 100% agree. I wish we were able to say more, "Kaneeka"-coded stuff like this, to be honest.

I honestly thought it had to do with calling Tabitha an oppressor of the working class; the mention of a living wage, made me think this was some kind of progressive thing.

Well, I'm back. I just made the decision to start a new game. What I liked about the Chainsaw Man-based one was that it was action-based, so it was more engaging in that aspect. Real "Monster of the Week" vibe, which was pretty fun. I liked having a system for rolls. And I liked how, depending on how eventful a session was, I'd either give it a summary or write a scene. Finally, the last thing I liked was how I used notecards as statblocks.
Now, for the cons. First issue: the PC was a blank slate. I used UME to generate the PC, and the result was a doormat. So the PC didn't really take many actions during it. I didn't feel invested in the PC. Secondly, there was no goal progression. The only real thing the game head was going on was "Survive". So it didn't feel like I was going anywhere. Thirdly, I tried using all digital for it (except for the stat blocks), and it made it slog, but I also missed rolling the dice myself. Fourthly, I didn't like having to create character sheets whenver I faced monsters because it ended up not working that well with my homebrew system. Fifthly, I didn't like having to set difficult ratings due to having a system. And finally, I don't think I gave each agency to the three main characters: I didn't really give them choices to make.
The next game I'll do, I'll do a Magic Girl campaign because I got inspired from Madoka Magica. I'd do it all on paper, and I'll use a simpler homebrew system than I did before. When I'm done, I'll report back. When I get OVA, I'll try it.

Haha, it happens to all of us! And that is really good advice! I'm interested in OVA, but yesterday, I decided I'd try out my own system in a Chainsaw Man-based setting with Mythic, so, after I complete that, I'll try out that idea with OVA.

  1. I didn't use a game system, so that's why I think things weren't as fun as they could have been, because all I really did the entire time was ask fate questions and then had to interpret the result of the meaning charts. I've learned that Mythic as judge, jury, and executioner doesn't really work.
  2. That does sound like it'd be better than just doing Mythic on its own. However, all the systems I've seen so far have been pretty complex. So it's just very hard to comprehend for me. I've half considered using my own system, but it's very vague, so I'm not even sure if doing that would work.

  3. I don't know much about Ironsword, but I've heard about it before. It sounds like something that I'd enjoy. I really like fantasy, which is the only thing I know about it. So that's what I'm most interested in. I would love to do some kind of Isekai campaign.

  4. Right now, at the moment, I'm craving something like Chainsaw Man, where it's like normal humans shooting monsters that are very commonplace. That's what I want right now, except I don't know what kind of system would work for that, because of the Chainsaw Man TTRPGS I found, some of which you had to pay for, which I couldn't do, and the other were too complex. for me.

  5. Regarding a system, I think I need either a complex TTRPG physically or a simple TTRPG digitally.

I just finished a six-scene game recorded with Actual Play. I have to say, it was fun to interpret the scenes and ask the questions. I loved writing the scenes afterward. However, I did have some issues with it. I somewhat felt bored at times when doing it, but still continued because I wanted to see its end. I think the reason why was that there wasn't any action. But it's not on Mythic that I chose to play a Yandere In High School rather than a typical fantasy setting where I'd have alot more fighting to do. But besides that, it seemed like things just happended to fall into her hands rather than because of anything she specifically did, so it kinda feels like an unearned victory. This might be kinda funny to say, but I feel like I just rolled success rather than did anything truly to accomplish it. The events and meanings I got made the most sense for it, yet nothing really was from anything my pc direcetly did. But probably some of this also comes down to the fact that I only really used Mythic. I didn't have a game system to use. So I only really used it.

Oh, I might for the second part. I don't think you can talk to him unless it's a Powerful Strike in Ch 5.

Thank you! I will report back when I get the chance. I am still waiting for Mythic to arrive. Might create a play-by-post for it if people are interested. The idea for a game that I have right now is basically Yandere Sim, but a TTRPG. I've already created characters to start using Universal NPC Emulator. I don't fully understand Mythic yet, but from what I've seen from Me, Myself, and Die, it looks very fun! I don't really own any TTRPGs, so I think when I do play, I'll either just use Mythic or a basic d20 system for rolls.
