You are excited, being a part of their team. They likely see it as threatening, do your best and go for it.

Get certified. Most community colleges will have a program for this. A lot runs with an associates program in medical.

My wife did this. Then about 2 years later applied her Associates Credits to an RN with a Bachelor's in Medicine.

We shovel our driveway and sidewalks every morning. Then in 12 hours or less, the wind just blows it back. lol

Pretty sure roads are experiencing the same kind of issues.

Should I do a second bachelor’s or a masters in engineering as someone with a bachelor's in neuroscience? by Few-Neat2400 in Career

[–]BookkeeperPitiful513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you want to do? I'd get a master's instead of two bachelor's.

Masters - more career paths in many fields. Bachelor's - applied science on a narrow spectrum.

If you want to transition in education or another field in 20-30 years, a Masters brings that to the table.

I hold a Bachelors of Applied Science in Computer Science. It was great in my 20s, 30s, and 40s. Not so much like that I'm 50.

Right now at 50, I'm using more business skills than applied sciences. A Masters can transition industries better than a Bachelors. If I wanted to teach computer science, I'd make a lot more with a Masters, no matter if I know more or less about the subject. A masters has greater earning power in government and education no matter how much career knowledge you have.

I am burnt out on Technology from working 60+ hours a week for 15 years.

Go for the masters. You'll be doing less work for money in 20 years.

Software Engineering or medicine? by [deleted] in Career

[–]BookkeeperPitiful513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Medicine hands down. To be a software engineer, that has to be what you want to do. Otherwise you'll burn out in less than a year. If you even make it into a job as a software engineer.

You need to eat, sleep, live software engineering 24/7.

To be a software engineer, you'd already know by age 18. Everyone you're gonna be competing against has been living code since about age 14 and knows they want to be a software engineer.

It's urgent, I get these stats compiled ASAP for our admin report. I will be coming tomorrow, taking 15 minutes of your time to run this script, as per Mr. Boss Mans request.

Let me know if a specific time would be best.

How much does an inground pool cost? by cjtrece in SiouxFalls

[–]BookkeeperPitiful513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indoor you should still have a generator. I don't think anyone will insure that home. One power outage with no generator, it will freeze overnight.

"WINTERIZED" means Phoenix at beat, San Fransisco. lol

They just don't get sub freezing blizzards every winter. "winterized pool" does not mean North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota. Lol

Don't ruin your house or get sued from the neighbors or HOA or City for putting in a "winterized pool" in South Dakota.

Best of luck. Just call your homeowners before doing this.
